Location: Texas | Once again the county road we live off is apparently the dumping grounds for kittens and puppies.
Usually my neighbor finds the puppies and we find the kittens, but on Saturday my mom was driving to the store and saw fluff balls on the road. They ran into the culvert and hid from us. They were terrified and took a long time to catch. It didn't take them long and they are now 100% normal rambunctious puppies! They are the sweetest little puppies ever, I can't believe how someone could dump them.

Location: Texas | we are working on finding them homes. The people so far that want to take them I don't really want them to.. one works full time and wants someone to watch it during the day, which to me sounds like a bad idea. The other has no business with another dog... |

| Y'all are angels Lauren. A few years ago I. had my hair cut by a new young girl. We were talking and the conversation went to animals and she started telling me about all of theirs and how they have babies and "then you have to dump them" like it was an everyday occurrence that everyone did - just part of life and no shame at all. She lived in a Wharton. |

If you remember her name message me. There's a girl who went to high school with me who now lives in Wharton and got in a lot of trouble with the law about selling misrepresented animals- like those bengal cats who weren't full bengals, dogs saying they were one breed and ended up being mixed breeds, or the wrong age… conning people out of money. had probably 20-30 cats living in squalor in a house. piles of feces. She got most all her animals confiscated but she will probably collect more.

I don't understand how people can dump animals either.
You have a great mom to have saved them. |

No there's nothing wrong with it. The conversation started that way with having a person to watch it and then the questions turned to, how they would handle being alone and had they been left alone...so like you said it went from a good idea to, this pup would probably be left alone all day. I got the vibe that they were trying to arrange someone to watch it and that person said no, so they were trying to find a way to make it work but I think they realized it wasn't a good idea.
I hate having to find homes for animals. Sometimes I feel like I am too picky but I just want them to have the best chance at living to adulthood and having a good life.
