Location: Where ever there's sunshine! | I have a lady wanting to trade me a Marlene McRae Circle Y in really good condition. I have my saddle (Black Rhino) listed for $1250. It doesn't fit my gelding and I need something that either fits him or that I can resell and use to buy something that does fit him. Should I take the deal? |

Location: In the Hills of Texas | You're Black Rhino should be worth more money if they are in the same condition.
What seat size and is it a #1 or #2 tree? |

Ditto, The Black Rhino is a higher quality saddle - hands down. |

Location: Where ever there's sunshine! | my Black Rhino is a 14" with the #2 tree. I've been trying to get rid of it for 2 years and can't. It's in great condition |

| the Marlene style would make a difference to me.......the plain jane ones might not be a good deal, but if it's the scalloped design, or angle skirt I would think it would be easier to resell than a Rhino |

Location: Silver Lake, MN | I agree I feel like the Black Rhino are usually in higher demand and sell better. Are you advertising it? I was looking for a friend and we had a heck of a time finding the #2 tree. I have a #1 and they seem to be more common, i've sold all mine here pretty quickly I just have been procrastinating with the holidays. |

Location: Where ever there's sunshine! | I have posted it on BHW several times, have it listed currently. For the first time in the 10 years i've had it and the umpteen horse I've put it on I have come across a horse it doesnt fit. I have an extremely flat backed gelding and the only thing that comes close to fitting is a bob marshall. I'm borrowing my sister for now until I can find sommething or purchase hers, neither of which I can do until this one goes. I'm beginning to feel like I'm going to have to give it away per say. |
