Is that the same as Tildren? If so it was a life saver for my horse, but I know other horses it hasn't worked for. What type of issue are you thinking about using it for?

My guy was 4 out of 5 on the lameness scale, did Tildren treatments, he is now a 0. That was 2 years ago. He has had no issues since and is running strong. Tildren saved his career and most likely his life as well.

My navicular horse didn't improve on it. Nothing against it, just didn't improve his soundness at all. He got it 6 months ago...still nothing.

Did he show bone changes in a x-ray or MRI?

I am curious how many treatments you did in the 2 yrs and how often? My horse is going on 8 months and still seems sound.

Yearly X-rays and 3 CT scans in the last 6 months. He has not had an MRI.

Tildren works when bone is involved, (discourages resorption) it's a possibility tendons were involved, without a MRI you cant get a true diagnosis.

I don't see it working on arthritis in the knees.

After having 3 MRI's on 3 horses- I totally agree with this statement. That is why it didnt work for you i bet.

I am curious how many treatments you did in the 2 yrs and how often? My horse is going on 8 months and still seems sound.

Initially I did 3 separate regional limb perfusion treatments 2 weeks apart, did a follow up treatment a year or so later but not because he showed any signs of needing it. I did it to make myself feel better. Vet said most do treatments every 3-4 months for maintenance. I am not sure if this is really needed or if it is a money thing for vet. His last treatment was May 2013 (once again my choice not because he showed signs of needing it) and he has never felt better. My initial decision to do the maintenance treatments was because it does take a while for the treatment to absorb and show signs of improvement. I didn't want any down time. I have since decided I will only do a maintenance treatment every year and a half or so. My concern with the maintenance treatments being so many and so soon is because I have also read that Tildren in repeated major doses can soften the bone. Not sure how true this is.
