| It is very easy to get stuck in a rut or mindset and I think I'm there with one of my mares.
Β She is a stakes placed daughter of Tommy De Great out of a Duck Dance mare. She is a multiple stakes producer and her best foals have been by Runaway Winner, Invisible Injun, and Royal Quick Dash.
My first thought is to cross her on Royal Shake Em because I love him and what he throws and genetically and phenotypically it works well.
That said...who am I forgetting? I don't want to do A Regal Choice or Royal Quick Dash because of her age and potential fertility issues getting semen, etc.

Just thinking..... Β Easy Winning Jet - Runaway Winner
I hadn't even thought of him. I don't think that cross would sell for much though which is kind of the hang up I'm having with Shake Em. However, if it were a Shake Em filly I'd probably keep it as a replacement mare since she is a 91 model and Shake Em broodmares are awesome.
I could just go completely out of the box and try something new on her...Β |

Hm... I was going to suggest Pappasito also, but maybe she doesn't like those Corona Cartel boys. What about Triple Vodka, if you want to try something new? |

I want something I could justify keeping as a broodmare. Her babies have been super solid....she just needs one to go bigtime and one of her yearlings just might do it. Her weanling is a beast and crazy athletic. Her foals are export eligible also.Β |

Location: Wonderful Wyoming | what are the mares you are expecting Stoli babies from? I may be in the market. If the husband says no to raising any, I want to buy one. |

Easy there tiger LOL! We have the others booked to Captain Courage, Dash Ta Fame, Streakin Sixes, Fantastic Corona Jr, and Tempting Dash so we're already taking deep breaths and looking under couch cushions... If the Dashing Val mare doesn't sell I don't even want to think about what she'd get bred to Β |

West Coast Separator, Feature Miss Kuhl, and Golden Gazelle.
I forget their due dates right now, but I think 2 are March and 1 is April. |

If we're going to play, let's really play it out.
Carter and Regard stand for 6. Cost to get a foal here, etc is going to run about 3500-5. Mare doesn't have "popular" lines, but does have 3-4 stakes winners (122k, 85k, etc etc).
Will those sell for $4k more than a Shake would?Β |

Is Regard 6k? He's never been that high. Highest I've seen is 3k. I thought he was my economical pick lol....the Fall sale at Heritage has 3 yearlings sold for 15k average and the Heritage yearling sale has 12 sold for a $15k average....... |
