Location: Midwest | My vet orders from Wedgewood. I just pay her when I pick up the meds. Very reasonable. |

| I use Essential Pharmacy Compounding. Great customer service--they will fax an Rx to your vet, abd they just have to sign it and fax it back. Or, your vet can just call them. |

They are very expensive. Flipside is you don't need a Rx.... but I would be wary of any site selling this to someone without one. |

Holy crap
I have never looked that site.
That's some voodoo witch doctor sheet in that place.
I don't know how they get away with selling most of that crap.

I'm pretty sure they aren't in the US
There's no contact number to call in...it's all over email
You also don't need an Rx for anything...... so yeah, shady and def not in the US....
Makes me wonder what QA/QC methods they use in their "pharmacy" |

Location: where ever my L/Q trl is parked | Try www.heartlandvetsupply.com they have PentAussie cost is 12ml vial 54.95 or 4+ vials for 49.95 each..... they might have larger quantities. This is what I buy- my local vet charges me 68.00 for 12ml vial- I try to buy all my Rx from Heartland instead of my vet. They probably have PentaSan too. |

Gold is precious, so it has to be better

Location: Land Of Oz | You guys saying PentAussie is cheaper - it's not. Take a look at the dosage.125 mg pentosan polysulfate in PentAussie vs. Pentosan from horseprerace: 250 mg pentosan polysulfate. Pentosan Gold has 150 of glucosamine also. I've had great results with Pentosan Gold and NO issues with horseprerace! Pentosan from horseprerace - 50 ml bottle gives you 8 doses so that makes it $28ish/dose. Pentosan Gold 50 ml bottle comes out to 31.25/dose. Pretty inexpensive.

Provided it's 250 mg/pentosan polysulfate and not 125 mg (unless you're giving 12 ccs), your vet is cheaper for regular Pentosan it looks like. |

Pentosan is sterile water
Pentosan gold is aceytl D glucosamine
that accounts for the difference in cost.
ETA: mine is 250 mg/ml
I am assuming my vet ordered regular pentosan for me (but it could be the gold... i forgot to ask her lol). At 125 for 50 ml, it's about 15 per dose. My vet does a very good job of trying to get me bargains. She's a great lady. She ordered mine from Wedgewood Pharmacy.
Pentaussie is more money. She priced it for me, and it was significantly more.
