California Cowgirl Posts: 14973 Location: California	I was doing a last minute wrapping paper run at Target and low and behold I ran across a very high class individual (insert sarcasm) selling puppies for $40 . Curiosity got the best of me so I find one left in her shopping basket in the cold on a newspaper. I handed her $40 and watched her get in her car and took down her license plate number and called the cops. This little fella is only about 5 weeks old , and it is illegal to sell any puppy under the age of 8 weeks . So now 6 has turned into 7. He will be looking for a home as soon as he is old enough and current on all vaccines with a full bill of health. I've lost my mind but I've found my soul . Happy Holidays from me and the pack . I Really Love Jeans Posts: 3173 Location: North Dakota	Maybe the female dog was dumped at her home and had puppies. By not giving them away for free it kind of protects SOME of the puppies from going to bad homes, the person getting the puppy will think a little more. Not everyone knows that a puppy needs to be with the mother longer. You did a good thing getting the puppy but you shouldn't pass judgement on someone. The puppies could have been dumped on the side of the road, this person you called the cops on tried in some way to do something for the dogs by finding them a home. I hope YOU find the dog a good home!
