It's hard to pick out names! We have an Adalynn, Keely, and Jase already. I think we like Lea and Savannah so far this time around; but I'm not super sold on them. Ainsley is super cute, and love the middle name Jae. Paisley and Emmylou are cute too! :) have you looked on Nymbler? You can type in the names you like and it will generate other like names.
My husband is super picky, I know what your going through! |

Word of advice. Everyone's going to have an opinion on what names you should and shouldn't name the baby. Only 2 that have to approve are you and your so. Dont settle, Otherwise you will make yourself crazy trying to please everyone and end up totally not 100% happy. They will learn to like whatever you choose. Dont let anyone take the joy away, which can happen. |

When we were pregnant with our first my husband wanted Shelby Lynn. I do love it. Wasn't there a coutry singer by that name? Wow that was 20 years ago. We ended up with Emily Ann since they are both old family names. |

This is so very true. Its you and your husbands decision not your mom's. |

| I don't know if you would consider it to be a western name or not but my favorite girl's name is Jerrica. My daughter went to school with a girl named Jerrica and I've loved it every since I heard it. This girl is the only Jerrica that I've ever heard of, too which makes me like it even more. |

Location: South of Canada and North of Mexico | I like old sounding names. I just had a baby girl and named her Audrey Renee. My cousin had a baby girl a few days later and named hers Willow (Elise) which was on my list as well. Other names I liked was Everly, Paisley, Presley, Elise (Eh lees), Ida, Ivy, Cora, Eva. I do not like names that are hard to pronounce or hard to spell or may confuse people on spelling. My name is Lyndsey and EVERYONE spells it with an I (LI instead of LY) and then they get to the S and say E or A. Im used to it and it makes no sense to me seeing how you spell Lyn LY.
CONGRATS on the baby!!!! |

I couldn't tell you. Lol. I've loved the name Shelby since I watched Steel Magnolias the first time. Lol. And Lynn is both mine & my moms middle name, so we passed it down to her.
And I know an Emily Ann. We had A LOT of Emily's in my high school. |

| I used to love the name Shelby but then that guy on that reality show about log men came along and his name is Shelby...pretty well soured me on the name because I always think of him now when I hear it, that and the fact that I now know probably 15 kids (boys and girls) with that name. I do think that Steel Magnolias made the name very popular. Reba McEntire named her boy that. |

Shelby Lynne is an alternative, Americana, country type music singer. Google her. |

| When I was pregnant my mom told me to pick two boys and two girls names and when the Dr hands me the baby he/she will tell me the name. That is what I did as soon as they handed me my son his name popped out of my mouth and that is the name that so fits him. And everyone loves it. |

My daughter's name is Austyn Del. Got the idea from Blake Shelton's song and her middle name is after my grandma Delrita, who went by Del. |
