I missed it if it has already been posted but Lazy E had their first foal born and it was a filly by Holland Ease and today they said he passed in Brazil. We were lucky enough to see him in person at the E a few years ago.
RIP

So sorry to hear this!  I've been looking for a Holland Ease daughter to cross on our Frenchmans Guy stud.  They sure have crossed well with FG in the past!

This is a pic of my daughter of Holland Ease. She is very athletic, retired from an injury and is in foal to 99 Goldmine.

wierqh - My mare is a granddaughter on the dam's side as well :) I absolutely love my mare. I have never met a horse that tries so hard to make its rider happy. Such a loss...Have never met a Holland Ease I didn't like!

And just since everyone else is sharing, here is my mare's pedigree:

sounds like my mare she tried really hard to please, she had been a broodmare when I got her and I trained her for poles and barrels, but a injury put her back to being a broodmare again. Supposedly neither of her first two foals lived. I know the first died as a 3 yr old but he was sickly, the second was SUPPOSE to have died at birth but the breeder was/is a crook and so not real sure on that one.
Your mare is nicely bred also.

I have a Holland Ease gelding and I have been trying to do some research on his bloodlines and ran into some trouble and looking for some help please. I tried looking up Holland Ease for his achievements, offspring and how they have done and basically just information like you can get out of the western horseman legends books and I can't find much on him. I have found his number of starts and how many first second and thirds and earnings and obviously his pedigree but I would like to know more. Does anyone know anymore info like what I am looking for or where to find it? I have searched google and gone through each and every result that has come back. I want to know more deeply about my horse. Thank you in advance for any help anyone can give me. :)
