Location: Phoenix | iPhone!!! Just ditched my galaxy 2. The androids/galaxy's lose their battery power over time, have rebooting issues, start glitching.....
I had the Galaxy 2, and an ipad. After getting the ipad, I knew I could never go back. The construction, plus the solid design of the operating system.....it was a no-brainer to get the iPhone 5s. Which, the fingerprint scanner is totally unnecessary yet TOTALLY worth it. Glad I went with the 5S.
The only plus of the Galaxy is the camera. It's better than the 5S.... :/ |

Location: North of the 49th Parallel | Galaxy hands down. I hate iPhones and I find it funny when somebody complains about their iPhone and it's a problem I never have with my Android (I have had a Galaxy, I have the LG Optimus G right now). I had my mom's iPhone for a week as I busted yet another phone and the whole time I wanted to throw that thing out the window.
And yes, I have a Mac for a computer and an iPad that I don't mind but I don't think I'd switch my phone even if somebody gave me a 5S. |

| iPhone. I converted from android to iPhone when the iPhone 5 came out in late 2012. I still have the same phone a year and a few months later and it has zero issues. I point this out because I use to go through 2-3 android phones a year, usually due to randomly shutting off, glitching graphics, etc. I know I didn't get THAT many dud phones in 3+ years.
Contemplating a tablet eventually and as much as I'd like to save the money, I know the ipad is worth it. |

Location: Kentucky | Three 4 Luck - 2014-01-06 9:18 AM I like apple products. Me too. I had an Andriod at first and never understood the "Apple craze". I received a work phone about two years ago, and it's a iPhone 4S. I have no idea how I even survived without it before. I will never go back to Andriod. iPhone is just so easy to use, and I use it MUCH more than I ever did my Andriod phone. My service has always been really good too. Never had a problem with it in the 2 years I've owned it.
I'm not into carrying something that is almost as big as a tablet either, so another reason I'll stick with my 4s.

Location: Philly | my co-workers that have iphones (every "brand" of service under the moon) either have no service in our building or hear about every 5th word on a call. they are like smokers and have to go outside to take a call. which is ironic b/c once apple gets you hooked, it's hard to stray as apple does have an awesome marketing strategy.
currently have a motorola razr maxx hd. its a decent phone, will probably buy another. bought it b/c its from motorola - a company that has been making cell phones before there was such a thing as a smart phone - and i have service on it where people on the same carrier won't with just about any other phone. some of the htc's and samsungs are nice, i've just had better luck reception wise with moto products.
and who can forget the recommendation of using duct tape on the iphone to keep from dropping calls?

I'm not into carrying something that is almost as big as a tablet either, so another reason I'll stick with my 4s. MINE IS NOT AS BIG AS A TABLET. IT SEEMS LIKE A NORMAL SCREEN TO ME! I USE PICS AS MY SCREEN SAVERS AND YOU CAN ACTUALLY SEE THEM! OR SHALL I SAY, 'I' CAN ACUTALLY SEE THEM. LOL. MINE JUST FITS MY NEEDS. I HAD MY IPHONE FOR 4 YEARS, THE FIRST ONE THAT CAME OUT, SO I GUESS IF YOU HAVEN'T HAD ONE BEFORE, THEN GO WITH THAT. I LIKED MY IPHONE, JUST GOT TIRED OF IT AND THE PHONE I HAVE NOW HAS A LOT MORE FEATURES. THEY ARE ALL REALLY GOOD PHONES. I DON'T THINK YOU WILL GO WRONG WITH THE SAMSUNG OR IPHONE.

Location: Blissfully happy Giants fan!!! | I have a Samsung GalaxyS4 for my personal phone and I have an iphone5 for my work phone. I seriously HATE my iphone. I always hope the cleaning people will steal it when they come (during the week I try not to bring it home with me at night unless I KNOW I will be needing to watch for something or will be getting a call). There isn't anything I really can say I like about it. Well its maps is better than my personal phone but I think that is a Sprint issue and not the phone itself.
My Galaxy phone takes better pictures and videos, the screen is better, calls are better, etc. I love it. And my battery lasts the same on both phones-and I use the CRAP out of my data usage. Seriously.
Also, I have an ipad. I LOVE my ipad. I don't know what I did without it. For personal use it is one of my favorite things. Goes with me everywhere. However, it is terrible for work stuff. I already put in a request for a windows tablet. There are looking into letting me be a tester for one here. |
