Location: Bastrop, Texas | Kristi, one thing you might consider is calling LuAnn's leather and I bet she would love to custom make something for you. She's been in the business and is a real pro. I don't know LuAnn's last name or contact info. You could probably google it. I am almost positive the two of you would come up with something absolutely smashing. There is another line of tack that I've bought and for the life of me I can't recall the name. They do fantastic work too. I have a lot of tack from both. |

Location: Riding Crackhead. | Kristy you are known for such high class style. In my mind you need to stick with the best quality work and leather. Luans does amazing work with very nice leather. I also use South Grove Tack. She's a gal here in South Dakota that makes out of this world tack and belts. You can find her on Facebook. I have numerous tack sets, halters and belts from both these companies. They are used and abused but hold up well. South Grove made tack sets for Jill Moody and Nikki Steffes. I "think" Shali Lord sells the South Grove items along with her jewelry line.. |

That was my first thoughts as well. But at the same time I know how much I appreciated getting to do a few drawings for you & I'm far from a well known artist. Maybe there's an up & coming leather worker that deserves the chance to help you create something amazing? |

Location: Deep South | My absolute favorite custom stuff right now, that is so punchy and unique is coming from the Mad Cow Company. Love, love their stuff.

I'm really liking the beaded stuff right now too, and Whisper's Beaded Tack has some really creative things on their page all the time.

And for classic sterling silver stuff, I'm still a fan of Bob Berg. Quality, beautiful stuff.

Joanna Parker is also making custom tack now and it's top quality, gorgeous stuff! She can do anything you want. Hopefully, you can look through this album I'm posting.

Location: Carpenter, WY | I would find a 1st class handmade silver antique bit or antique silver stirrups if I wanted something totally unique to give to someone.
Also saw a rope halter that had been beaded and covered in elk hide by the Indian ladies that was totally awesome and the craftmanship was outstanding.

A really cool custom bit from Troy would be neat or maybe some custom conchos with the person's brand, name or initials??
Also if you like cool custom silver...Nick Cunningham makes some really cool stuff! |
