  That's White "Man" to You

| I don't normally do this... but, On new years eve my brother in law and nephew Lincoln were out hiking in southern utah. While hiking somehow a huge boulder landed on Lincoln pinning him face down to the ground. My BIL heard the rocks fall, and couldn't find Lincoln so he ran to the rocks and could see only his head and feet sticking out from under the rock. He twice tried to lift the rock and was unable. He said a quick prayer in his head and on the third try he was able to lift the rock and yell at lincoln to get himself out from under it. My BIL who is a firefighter in Vegas, rushed lincoln to the hospital. He was then life flighted to a vegas intensive care unit. They did surgery that night to remove his spleen, part of his pancreas and re-attach his intestines to his stomach. He is still in the ICU while they continue to fix the little things that keep popping up, as they try to get his digestive track going again. The rock was lava rock and my BIL brother went and measured the rock. They estimated that the rock weighed somewhere between 400-600 lbs. We have seen lots of miracles already but this little guy still needs a few prayers if you could spare them.

| Prayers to him! Keep faith and continued prayers as miracles do happen! My dad was 6 when he was in a terrible accident. He was cut almost completely in two by a seat belt, his spinal cord was stretched more than 3 inches and he lost 10 foot of his small intestine. His parents were told he would never walk again, have children or ride.
He recovered beyond the doctors' wildest imaginations, was able to walk again without braces by the time he was ten, rode bareback horses through high school and in to his early twenties, had 2 children and still rides and ropes, and is now 53 years old. I will continue to pray for your nephew and brother-in-law.
Please keep us informed on his progress.
Prayers. |
