Location: Oregon | I love my mangers. But only if the trailer is 8ft wide. Just in case a horse has to turn around they still can. My parents used to have a 7 foot wide with mangers, and it was TIGHT!!! Nothing bigger than a pony or a mini could turn around in it, and it even just looked tight trying to get into the trailer. Never was able to get my mom's horse loaded in that one - I think she felt too claustrophobic in that trailer. She'll get into my 8 ft wide with mangers no problem. |

Location: Riding Crackhead. | When we ordered our trailer we were going to get a midtack for extra storage and mangers no matter what. The dealer told us it was cheaper to get a bigger LQ than a mid tack so that's what we did. I have an 8' trailer. |

Location: OREGON | I definitely wouldn't own one with mangers unless it is 8ft wide. I owned a 7ft one and sold it within a month, hated it. A mid tack or full rear tack (side or reverse load) is a must. Those little side tacks or partial rear tacks are not enought room in my opinion.

I was quoted an extra 5k for a mid tack on a new trailer. |

Location: Mi | I have a 8' wide with mangers.....LOVE the mangers! However now I wish I had a mid tack too. I have an 8' Short Wall also. Seems the more room you have the more stuff you manage to take with you and never use. |

Location: Okla | I have both. I love the midtack, because if it is muddy. I can go in that door and shed my muddy boots before walking into the LQ. I also have mangers on 2 of my three stalls. the third stall has a generator instead of a manger. (I bought the trailer used, it had been special ordered originally) |

Location: 100 miles from Nowhere, AR | It's nearly impossible to find a LQ trailer with a mid tack and no mangers (my parents had one, so I know there's at least one out there somewhere). I don't really like mangers, but buying used, I didn't really have a choice. |

Location: NW MT | I love both .... but on the width of the trailer/stalls, it depends more on the slant of the trailer. Some are more straight, so you want the trailer wider - if they slant more, they have more room. Hope that made sense! |

Location: The Great Northwest | Both! I have an 8' with a mid-tack that is a utility like area. Door from outside and one to the LQ. No door to the horse area I wanted that wall for shelves. The other walls have large hooks and I have a closet in the corner. I wish I could do with out the mangers. They are great for hanging hay bags over and for a small pail of water. I have very little wasted hay. I wish for a full rear tack and a side ramp load. |

Ours had mangers which I loved but our rear tack was so small that I was always wishing we had a mid-tack.
Our next trailer will have both, I want a mid-tack to serve has a mudroom so we are not tracking crap through the LQ. |

| We have mangers and a rear tack, and we are able to pack everything we need just fine(right down to extra blankets, feed, and a small vet kit). I'd like a mid-tack, but Im pretty sure we'd fill it with things we dont necessarily need with us. |
