| What was your favorite island ? What are some must sees ? We are planning on going in June for our honeymoon and trying to decide which island to stay on

I kayaked alot and it was cool. it had underwater elevators in the pool and it was like a stream and had rope swings and just really cool pool then it ended as a sandy beach type pool .. id love to go back.. the pig roasts and the plants and the people were super.. |

Location: In my own little world | I was in Lahaina, Maui in November. Very beautiful. I would like to go to Waikaiki if I ever go again just for something different. |

Location: Central TX | Maui is definitely nice for a first timer. Been 5 times and love it. Lahaina/Kaanapali is top notch. very nice and friendly people. GREAT restaurants and hotels. |

Location: Desert Land | I was there in December with my husband who had to go for work. We were on Oahu. I really enjoyed it. Down town Honolulu reminded me of LA, but next to the beach. All the shopping and hustle and bustle. We went snorkeling, hiking to a water fall, went to a luau, visited the Dole Plantation, lots of beach time. It was fun.
But that's the only time I have ever been, so I can't compare it to any of the other islands. |

Location: NE Pa-Gods Country | my parents lived there for 15 years on the Big Island of Hawaii... there are tons of things to see and do there from the Volcanoes national parks, to green sand beaches, black sand beaches...to the Kona side where the celebrities stay...there is even a ranch Parker Ranches in Waikaloa. |

| I was there in March on Oahu. LOVED it. Stayed at the Holiday Inn Beachcomber, very close walking distance to the beach and tons of shopping every which way. Waikiki and Honolulu reminded my husband and I of the Vegas strip - next to the ocean, but we loved it all the same. We toured almost the entire island and the Arizona Memorial is one of the most moving things my family has ever experienced. I must have another hula burger at Cheeseburger in Paradise overlooking Waikiki Beach in this lifetime. Snorkeling in Hanauma Bay was the BEST. But I would love to try Maui or Kauai on another trip. Fatchance lived there so she knows a lot about it.

Location: flatlands | I lived in Waikiki. Oahu is commercialized, but it also offers the most bang for your buck, especially if you only have a limited amount of time. The north shore is far-less touristy and gives you the tropical, deserted island-feel of some of the other islands. I got to spend time in Maui while I was living there as well. It is much more laid back and the terrain is a bit more rugged in spots. Both are beautiful and you won't regret either. |

Location: Mi | We went to Maui for our honeymoon 10 yrs ago. I can't say enough GOOD about it. Loved it, everything about it. There were so many things do to and see, but yet you could just relax at the beach too. I'd go back in a second!!!

Location: Randolph, Utah | My parents are flying to Honolulu in the morning, I am extremely jealous, I could of went but was to cheap. Lol They went to Maui 18 years ago and loved it, they did a lot of driving and I think went and looked at a ranch.
They are planning on going to the Pearl Harbor and Polynesian cultural center. |

| We went for the first time a few yrs ago and the people we went w/had been there many times and they picked the big island. We flew into Maui but only got to see it from the plane. :( We were not really impressed by the big island as we never got to step foot on white sandy beaches. Who goes to Hawaii and doesnt step on white sand??? Sadly, us. I would have loved to have seen Pearl Harbor. We did take a helicopter ride over the volcano-very cool. We rode 4 wheelers in the mountains and saw a beautiful waterfall-also very cool. We drove to Hilo from Kona. Hilo is prettier. I guess it was an ok trip but I would avoid the big island its ALL volcano rock...everywhere which I thought was kinda fug. Blech Maybe someone else knows more and got to see different things there but we won't be returning to the BI. I'd love to see any of the other islands and spend time on the beaches. BTW, the water is not very warm this time pf yr. We went snorkeling and it was cold! |

| We went to Maui. I really enjoyed it. We had a condo on the beach and watched the sun set everynight. You could see the whales too. We went in March when they are moving. We went snorkeling in several places and a Helicopter tour and also a volcano tour on bikes. We also drove around the whole Island. It was just beautiful. I would most definitley go back in a minute. |

Not as much as there use to be. I started the Hawaii's Women Rodeo Association when I lived there. I was on Oahu. Bud Gibson use to produce 3 rodeos a year bring in big names, Ty Murray, Tuff Hedeman to just name a few. Max Smith(owner of Gunstock Ranch where I trained) put on great ropings, but since his death not so much now, and Bud doesn't do the rodeos any longer. The gal that worked for me is now on the Big Island and she puts on barrel races and some ropings. SO when your ready to fly over let me know and I will see if I can get you hooked up. |

Location: In the middle of it all | Maui go to Maui! It is by far the prettiest. Go to Ulapalakua Winery and take The Road To Hana, two fun things to do that aren't the beach and won't break the bank;-) |
