Too Many Irons in the Fire

I lost my little girl today. My sweet, sweet, loyal dog. It was a freak incident and she was hit by a car. There was nothing that could be done, and I knew that, but I tried anyways. I saw the entire thing and will be traumatized for a long time.

Just this morning we had our usual morning cuddle time as soon as she heard my alarm clock go off, then we went out to feed horses and her and Jax ran and ran and ran. She absolutely loved living out here. She was an amazing dog.. so, so loving and affectionate. She died such an unfair death. This is my first ever loss, ever. In human or beast. I'm just devastated. My heart hurts, I can't stop crying. Jax won't stop pacing the house looking for her. He's going to be so lonely without his sister.

I just needed to get my feelings out. This was our family on thanksgiving. Hugs please?

Oh gosh I am so sorry. You can just see the love in your dogs eyes. My mom ran over our first mini aussie.

I am so sorry this happened and you had to witness it. I will pray that you find comfort and peace.

I'm so sorry!  I had to put my Aussie down in November and the mini weenie lost a fight with a critter in December.  There is a spooky silence in their absence.  I feel for your loss..

RKC, here is a big   for you.  I know the pain you are going through and i am very, very sorry. She was beautiful. Hold on to the memory of those snuggles you got from her this morning. I have lost several furry babies over the years and i can say the pain has lessened but never completely goes away, unfortunately.  Lean on Jax to help sooth your pain. Also, please know you are not at fault for her accidental death.

What a beautiful dog. I am so sorry for your loss. As one who has experience in that area, crying is natural and you need to mourn. The pain will ease and you will remember the happy times.  Find some solace in snuggling Jax. My heart hurts for you.  Sending some hugs and prayers your way.

So sorry for your loss... In my lifetime I've had two of mine get hit right in front of me and the worst part was I was calling them to me at the time.... Time will heal, but you will never forget her friendship.
