Location: MI | He's actually our local vet that we take the dogs to.. I know people who have had good and bad experiences with him (like any vet I suppose)... When we had to put our old horse down a couple winters ago he came out to do it and was very nice. Brenda, the woman vet on the show- is a great vet, have always liked her.
ETA: We like the show-- how you see him on there is exactly how he is in real life - has a fun personality, and is straight to the point lol

Cold hands and Warm Heart
Location: oklahoma | My vet just retired a few weeks ago. He was straight to the point too and some didn't care for him but I loved it, no bull. My g.s. Loved the tech so much, he'd put his paws on her shoulders and hug her every time we went there. When is this show on? |

Location: SD | We love the show, but don't get Nat Geo Wild anymore. Dr. Pol reminds me of our vet. It's nice to hear that the show is a true representation of how he is everyday without unnecessary scripting. |

| I found it a couple of weeks ago while hubby was at a K-State game and so I had control of the remote! It gets recorded now so I can watch it. I worked for a vet for about 9 years and went on farm calls and such. He does things the way the vet I worked for did, pretty neat to see it done by others, no fluff no buff just vet work |

I find the show entertaining and I feel Dr. Pol is a good cow vet but I wouldn't take my dogs or a horse to him..LOL
I still can't believe he doesn't use gas when he does surgery on small animals. |
