| You cannot change people and force them to do the responsible thing. I just watched a story on our local morning show about a 19 year old girl who has a brain tumor and no insurance and treatment has been stopped. They just said she has not signed up for the ACA yet, did not discuss why or ask any questions. The story was about the generosity of those helping her financially. Maybe she cannot afford the premiums, maybe she can and does not want to pay them but either way the AFA is not effective in getting everyone covered despite the monstrous expense and disruption it has caused so many. Saw a story the other day that only 11% of those enrolled were without insurance. |

If you have a 6000 deductable you are not going to the DR! Its a complete screw up by a very ignorant government! |

| On the local news two nights ago, they reported that Target is "discontinuing" health insurance for their part-time workers effective next month. Employees will be given $500 and canceled. Uggggghhhh!!

| I know of somebody that was working at JC Penney's and recently lost their health insurance through the company. They've had to find a job elsewhere. And can you imagine what happens when you are pregnant and have a health condition, and all of a sudden the company you work for takes away your health insurance? What happens is that you are not covered and no insurance companies will cover your pre-existing conditions (and pregnancy is considered a pre-existing condition). |

Location: Kansas | Similar story of a woman interviewed on FOX. She has breast cancer and had her treatment lined out at a cancer treatment center. Her health policy was cancelled January lst and she was forced onto the exchange and nothing she had planned will be covered on this policy.
Horse trader lost his $200 a month policy he'd had since he was 19. New one would cost $550 a month. Said he's a healthy 53-year-old and will go without insurance. |

Location: In The Land of Cotton | To put another new spin on this wonderful program - look at where all the people now qualify for Medicaid. However, there is an unknown law that the governments (states) can collect from your estate - if you die - the cost of the Medicaid. If you were a certain age getting it - I believe those that qualify through Obama care I don't know if I am understanding this correctly, ()so part of this might not be right) but this has been enforce since 1993.
There is an article on Fox News about it.

Location: Bastrop, Texas | I hope ObamaCare really does turn out to be the death knell for the Socialist-collectivist, Progressive super state utopia, like people are beginning to say. Realistically, though, I'm afraid it won't be. As long as we have professional politicians who make politics their career, there will always be socialism. |
