Need to get a new work out program and I'm debating on one of these.  I did the original P90X and loved it but right now don't have an hour+ to devote to exerise.  I did a big month of Insanity but quit because it hurt my joints.  Both of these are about 30 minutes which works for me right now.

Anyone have input on both or either of these programs?

I've only done t25 (& insanity) and its a lot easier on the joints than insanity. And it offers lower impact options as well.

There are great free workouts on dailyhiit.com too - that's where I go, a lot to choose from, and they're all short for busy people like us!

My suggestion is to try both before you buy.  I loved the Insanity, not super crazy about the T25, just because I feel like its not nearly the workout that the fully video was.  I youtube'ed the videos and tried it from there

I prefer the T25!
1) It's only 25 minutes of working out instead of an hour. Therefore I don't want to reach through the TV screen and strangle Shaun T like I did Tony.
2) It is lower intensity and impact than Insanity, or even P90X, and they have the modifier to follow if you have bad knees, etc.\

I feel like T25 is a good workout and it's short enough to fit into a busy schedule.

p90x.  Nothing against 25 minute workouts because I get that many people don't have time for more then that, but from someone who has worked out since high school, the get the most from doing it, you should be doing more then 25 minutes.

I do p90x, but I don't follow an exact plan with it.  I usually do the core synergistics a few times a week, and even at that, I just go my pace and do what I can.

Keep in mind that just because a workout DVD has a one hour workout, does not mean that you HAVE to do the whole workout to actually get something out of it.  When I'm just chilling watching TV I take some exercises out of the p90x and do them.

I love the T25 series, I did insanity and liked it but every break I twiddle my thumbs, let's get his done!!! So T 25 straight through no breaks works awesome, for me and I do two in a row if I'm feeling rambunctious, is so personal, good luck any one is a good choice your body will thank you!

The new P90X 3 is a 30 minute workout.  I'm *guessing* it's a condenced version of the original P90X which I already have.

I have the orginal P90X.  Loved it and the results I got but we're building a house and I don't have the time to devote to it so I'm looking for a shorter version.

I can't NOT follow the plan.  Just the way I'm made but if I don't follow the program I'll start sluffing off and before you know it I haven't exercised in a week, which turns to a month, then a few months and that's where this 15 extra pounds found me.

Thanks for the input everyone.

I've had the p90x for almost two years and there's still some of the dvds that I haven't even used.  I get enough of a workout from core synergistics, but then I also run and do other stuff as well so I'm not using dvds every day.

Jillian Michaels has a new three months work out dvd set.  It's 30 minutes per day.  I liked the 30 Day Shred, so I'm thinking about getting it, if I ever get over being bucked off and can move again.... :(
