Hi all,
I have not been on here in a really long time, but I really need some input on this herb and any information would be great.
I'm just wondering if anyone still feeds this or fodder their pastures with it. I know that the FDA says it ruins the liver, however, I think that it is so beneficial they don't people using it for themselves or our horses? Just like they discontinued Terramycin
(it actually worked on everything
).
So if you use this herb or have any information on how much to feed or personal experience with it would be great and helpful information.
I do know all of it's beneficial healing it does on just about everything, but I'm wanting to see if anyone actually feeds it anymore or if they just use it as a topical treatment. Currently I mix it in with aloe vera and put on any type of wound or dry patches, etc. I do have the actual herb dried and cook down to mix in with aloe vera or lanolin. It worrks great. Thanks in advance!

My mom had dairy goats for 25 years and her garden is still full of it... She fed it every day. I wonder if it is worth advertising to sell rootlings... we got tons of them.

I remember quite a few years ago my sister got in a car accident and had little pieces of glass from the windshield in her arm and shoulder. Her boyfriend at the time who was a real herb guy made a paste out of comfrey leaves and aloe from the garden and within just a couple of days the paste had sucked out all of the glass pieces and she was 90% healed in that short of time.

Oh yeah... It makes one of the best poultices you can find in the natural world... Good to enhance the healing of torn skin as well...
