Location: Where ever there's sunshine! | I rode a granddaughter of DFC for the last 6 years. Very intelligent and willing to do anything but it had to be her idea. Ex: I go out with the intentions of doing some basic dry/flat work she'd be arched up and ready to go no matter how much of a warm up I gave her. She would be in the mood to stretch out and run. I could either fight with her and get half of what I wanted done or just go with her idea today and breeze he back field. I'm not saying she was hard to deal with, because she wasn't she just had her own plan. She has more heart than I've ever seen and is the sweetest thing I've ever met...but when it was time to work she was all business. I'd take a whole herd of her and any other DFC n a heart beat. |

Location: Wonderful Wyoming | They are each going to be very different because each has his own dam line and then throw in whatever your particular horse's dam line is.
I have never rode a DTF LOVE LOVE everything by or grandget of First Down Dash and have only been around grand get of DFC, which I have had no issues with. Althletic, smart, willing, kind. |

Location: Royal J Performance Horses, AZ | I have ridden a small handful of DFC grandgets and loved them ALL. I own to DFC grand gets both were only brood mare sound. One was a daughter od Corona Czech out of a DFC daughter (so she was double bred DFC on papers) and The one I have right now is a daughter of Pritzi Dash and I simply adore this mare. maybe even more than my Corona Czech mare.
My Pritzi Dash daughter is down to earth, calm, kind, well put together, had a real nice mind on her and is a worker, the mare loves to have a job. I really wish I could ride this one cause i think she is something special, but I guess i'll just have to ride her babies and call it good! |

Location: Peg-Leg Julia Grimm | There are a few people who don't like them...but I'm thinking it must be their fault. LOL just kidding.
I really like the ones I have. I've never had any sons or daughters. But I've had several grandkids. It just depends on the mare line. But would not shy away from them at all. In fact, I like it when there is more than one cross to him. They are successful at whatever they are trained to do. End of story. |
