| So it has jumped here from $2.80/gal to $6.35! That means it will probably cost me $1900-2000 to fill my tank? How in the world are we supposed to be able to afford this? - Is this just in my area of Kansas or everywhere? I'm seeing nothing about it on the news. |

Location: Canada | Its in canada to, I live in central canada and there was a little article in our local paper saying propane was gonna go up in central canada due to production being way down. And the bitter cold winter we are having
"U.S. propane inventories fell by 3.6 million barrels to end at 31.7 million barrels last week, 25.8 million barrels — or 44.9 percent — lower than a year ago"

| I just paid 4.10/ gal here and I paid $1.39 early last fall. Our guy said there was a 100 gal minimum and 200 gal maximum only. I got a 100 gal in hopes the price goes down. I think there was a Canadian pipeline explosion and not to mention the major cold snaps. I still think it's highway robbery, but I do kind of like heat. Edit to add SE Iowa

| Holy cow. I was quoted 4.70 the other day. A couple hundred gallons would run the same as normally filling our tank |

Location: Smack Dab in the Middle | I saw it on the local news late last week...it's the first time I've been grateful that i have an all electric house!!! Even as cold as December was, and my house at 71 degrees, my bill stayed under $200. We added insulation the first of January, so I'm hopeful that my January bill coming in a couple of days will be lower yet, or at least no higher. |

| Here in ND too... Our last bill was over $700 and it is only estimated to last a 6 weeks, maybe 2 months? YIKES. We are fortunate enough to have electric baseboards too and so we have turned those up and the propane down.
We have a heat-source air pump that VERY efficiently heats and cools our home at like 28° or higher. Too bad it's been -121648° this entire winter. :( |

Don't forget our wonderful Pres who is determined to cut funds for natural resources because we need to move to other forms of energy. UGH |

| We are at $3.13/gallon in Nv. Up from $2.83 but we aren't seeing the jump that you have.

I am a stall cleaner, I LOVE to cook and I am OCD about cleaning BUT, the commute to Wichita for work would probably be too far! Dang it! |

Location: Kentucky | I'm in Louisville, KY but we get our propane from Indiana. We are at 50% now, and not sure when I should call to get a refill. We have never had to fill in the winter before... but this winter has been rough so I know we will have to fill again once we hit 20%. I'm scared to make that call. I don't know how much they have jumped in their prices. |

| I think we're pushing $5.00 a gallon in OK. I know lots of people who are hurting from it. Sure didn't help us any. |

| I got 200 gallons a little over 2 weeks ago and it was $456. Too bad that 200 gallons is already half way gone! 200 gallons is all they would sell me then, so they must have known higher prices were coming. Not looking forward to $1000+ for the next 200! |

We're at 50% as well on a 1000 gallon tank. Our hot water and cooking stove are propane, we've been using the gas logs in the evenings, and we have a propane whole house generator just in case. Since they're talking about possible ice/snow next week, I'm thinking we need to fill it up just in case. I'm scared to find out the price. |
