Location: ND | About two weeks ago one of ND's rodeo photographers, Chris Doll, contacted me to do a drawing of one of his photo's. He shot this photo in Cheyenne in 2005 of Billy making a 90 point ride on Harry Vold's Elvis. I'm having a ton of fun with this piece, the detial in the original photo is great so that's going to have a huge impact on how this drawing turns out. I love it when I get to team up with other great artists on projects like this!!!

My two geldings, Sunny and Sprite were bred by Billy and Holly, and I have had the pleasure of talking with both of them about horses. They are humble, honest people, the kind that rodeo can be proud of. What an honor for you to be able to do a drawing of one of the all time greats of rodeo. |
