I know there are a bunch of boards on here about it. But wanting people who have tried it and stay with it and those that haven't stayed with it.

If it didn't work, did something else work for weight loss?

 I know a couple BB' s who have had giant steps into better health due to doing Paleo along with weight loss! 

They'll likely comment when thy pull themselves away from the Super Bowl LOL

It really isn't hard.  Almond flour will become your best friend
There are several good paleo FB groups that have great recipes.

 We eat Paleo.  Giving up breads, chips and grains was not as hard as I thought it would be.   Lots of good substitutes, sweet potato chips, kale chips.   Taking responsibility for your health is a great thing.   Lots of great paleo pages on FB to get recipes.

3 lbs. boneless pork shoulder
2 tbsp. lard/bacon fat or tallow...
1 cup beef broth
1 6 oz. can tomato paste*
1 medium onion, cut in half and sliced
1 red bell pepper, seeded and sliced
1 yellow bell pepper, seeded and sliced
2 roasted anaheim chiles, peeled,seeded and chopped (or one 4 oz. can diced green chiles)
4 cloves garlic, crushed

Just, ever since I stopped riding I've gained a lot of weight.
I have a yearling right now and I'd really like to be able to be the one to jockey him, but I don't want to do so unless my weight is back down, as he'll only be 15.1-15.2 probably.

I mainly eat Paleo and have since last March. I don't think anything about it as it is now my normal way of eating. I never realized how bread and potatoes were blowing my up like a puffer fish. I don't miss bread or grains at all. Once in a while I have and will eat some mashed potatoes an I do pay for it.

I had a load of health problems, horrid chest pains that were I diagnosable, daily bloat Hausa and headaches, absolutely no energy, in able to sleep for more that 3 hrs at a time, along with breathing issues even though I'd had extensive testing all showing I had healthy lungs, AND hormone/cycle issues that had my dr thinking I was in early menopause...all of this started at the ripe old age of 20. I am now 26 and have been Paleo for just a few months. We're still keeping an eye on my monthly cycle but so far EVERYTHING has gotten solo much better. I am having no health problems what so ever. I can tell within minutes when I've eaten something that I'm not supposed to, but onetime you just gotta have some Cheetos lol I'm still learning how to revamp my recipiens but I'm enjoying trying and learning new things and I am so happy to say that I feel like the young woman I am instead of the old lady I had become. I hope this helps! It looks scary at first but it really isn't that hard at all. Good luck!

I don't have the health problems like you do. Except, I've been developing really sensitive skin. I'm only 21! LOL. Definitely helped a lot on my decision! thank you so much!

Glad you found out while you're so young instead of being miserable for years..

I was having sleep apnea and I was snoring..All of that ended within a few weeks of eating Paleo. I found out that sugar and sugar subsitutes are horrible for me.

Congrats and continued good health.

I have been Paleo since last May, my decision was made to become healthy and help with food allergies. I have always tried to be pretty healthy but decided to step it up to the next level. I dont feel like I am doing without, I have managed to make everything I ate before, but just healthy. I never loved bread, giving up black beans were probably the hardest for me. I love the energy I have, the way I feel and my workouts are 10 times better now. You can see the before and after pics of my sister and I on our website. Here is the link. I was never considered "big" but I lost over 20lbs and all the fluff is gone. I will still have some beers, try to get the gluten free kind.
