Elite Veteran Posts: 733	If I am running home into a closed gate my horse quits bad, does anyone have any suggestions? She is a seasoned horse and she runs out fine if its an alley.

Elite Veteran Posts: 972 Location: Texas!	Maybe a whip to pop her right when she tries to quit you? Also looking far past the timer helps with my horse.

Elite Veteran Posts: 733	Sorry guess I should have given better specifics. She is a mild bleeder, that being said she gets ran on lasix plus other stuff and she is not bleeding when this happens. Also during the summer when I am running a lot she gets monthly lameness exams, it is not a physical thing. I try whipping her but it is a toss up if I whip she ducks off soon, if I stay two handed and kick her she runs strait longer but she doesn't run as hard.
