Location: WNY | I have wanted a pair of lucchese boots for a long time. problem is I cant find them in my size. so I had gone to a local tack store and ordered a pair, since they had told me they could do that just order the size from the company, and it might take as long as 3-4 months. but that was ok with me. well I tried calling the store many times and kept getting some bs line about how they were delayed shipping, stuck at the boarder, backordered ETC. after 2 years im sick of waiting and this year I AM buying myself a good pair of boots.
I have long skinny feet. men's sizes are just way too wide and end up hurting my feet. WHERE can I get a GOOD brand of boots in LADIES reg width sizes 10 or 11?? I am SO sick of Ariat and Justin brand boots that only last me a year at most. Plus story of my life the styles I like DONT COME IN MY SIZE. Anyone else have this frustration? |

| Call lucchese directly and talk with them. I had a pair that had some stitching come undone and the company I bought them through said they were discontinued and couldn't help, but here's a gift certificate.
I contacted lucchese directly and they were on the ball helpful! I went pictures and they agreed it was craftsmanship. They sent a prepaid UPS label, I sent the boots and about 3 weeks later I got them back, fixed beautifully, you can't tell anything was wrong with them.
I will buy again for sure. |

Location: WNY | I am totally convinced I want a pair. I guess I thought the tack store had contacted lucchese directly. I am starting to think they just wont make them in sizes other than what they offer in catalogs. |

Call Lucchese direct. You will NOT be disappointed. I also have larger sized and skinny feet and they are almost exclusively the boot I choose for every day, riding, work, etc ... They will fit tighter over the vamp ( part of the boot that fits over your arch and in front of your ankle and is directly responsible for holding the boot on your foot) the first time you pull them on, but the leather is high quality and will conform with wear. That being said, be sure to ask questions about what leather the vamp is made of .... for example cow hide, ostrich, and pig hide will stretch a bit but Caiman and other reptiles do not stretch as much .... Good Luck and don't give up!!!
Lucchese has a great reputation for quality boots and will resole your boots if you ship to them for the lifetime you own the boot! LOVE this company and the 5 pairs I own!! |
