| I feel like my pro rider throws me forward...any suggestions on a saddle that well help me sit better? |

Are the stirrups hobbled (not forward, but straight) so they don't go back behind you, causing you to fall forward?

Location: OK | It can be the wrong seat size, but the first thing I'd look at is the gullet size on the horse. I bet it might be sitting too far down on the front of the horse, which makes the front feel too low and the back hit you in the butt. Take a pic of the saddle on the horse. It could be fixed with a different type of pad or a thicker pad.
Other causes can be stirrup length, stirrup placement like another person said, or a flat seat or a seat that just isn't made for they way you ride. |

Location: Buffalo, TX | I have a Josey and it doesn't throw you forward, but I like my Caldwell (TG tree) way better...it's so much more balanced and it won't throw you forward either....I do ride with short stirrups though...that might make a difference. |

| I just replaced my RS for the same issue. I haven't run in it yet, but my new Triple Creek is much easier to keep my weight back on my pockets in. I'm excited to see how it works out. |

Location: Pelham, TN | Shallow Creek Saddles have the deep seat and keep your feet forward!!!! Seat size does make a difference as to where your feet end up!!!! |

I bought a nice used Shiloh by Cecil Phillips and it really helps me keep a nice seat. Does not throw me forward at all. I paid under 1k for it. |

| Jordan Peterson Contender made by Shiloh. I ride with a naturally forward seat and every other saddle I have tried throws me forward even more. The Contender actually balances me out. :) |

Location: Winds-A-Blowen, Oklahoma | Pro riders have free swing forward fender, but they are designed to suck you down or back in the seat in the turns. the only time i get thrown forward in one is if I am too forward to start with. I have seen others get forward in them because they are toe riders (toes down heels up). Of course as stated other facters for this are poor saddle fit for horse or rider and stirrups too short.
I love my pro riders, been riding in them for 15 years or so, but i DO NOT like the crumrine edition.

Location: North Dakota | Crown C! it keeps my feet under me so I can roll my hips persay when I get to the turn and sit deep.
That said I think its REALLY important to make sure the Crown fits your horse. I have one horse that its too big for, even with shims, and if I ride him in it I do tend to go foward a bit. I have to make a conscience effort to keep my butt in the saddle.
If I throw it up on the horse it was made for, with shims to "level it out," I have zero problems. Sits me nice and deep. Love the ground seat on the Crown; it creates a wonderful little pocket that you sit in. It really suits my style of riding. |
