Location: Dearing, GA | I need to add that edge to my 6 y/o gelding. He's missing that shine and an overall look of wellness. Several people have recommended Forco for him but THE Muscle Mass seems more all-inclusive to me. Which would you feed, and why? His main feed is T.C. Senior which has done wonders for his weight gain, but he's still missing something. Β |

Right now I'm not sure I could afford to feed both, though that would be ideal. I cannot tell which I need to give this horse though Forco has been more frequently recommended. |

Location: Memphis, TN | Have you considered trying OxyMax from Oxygen? It's everything rolled into one. I've used both THE MM and Forco. If I was going to do one I'd do THE MM and have them add their ulcer maintenance which I think is an extra $5. |

Location: NC | It all depends on what you're trying to "treat" or prevent or whatever you want to do.
Forco is for the gut. It is a pro/prebiotic to support the entire digestive system of the horse.
THE Muscle Mass is a muscle builder of sorts and you can add different add ons to it, like joint support, bleeder/breather/cough, ulcer prevent, hoof, focus, calming, etc. You can add a version of their other products as an add on to both the Muscle Mass and the Performance formulas.
The performance formula is the muscle mass without the high amount of aminos. It's more for one that doesn't need the extra bulk but could still benefit from the goodies it has to offer.
I just ordered my first round of Forco for my gelding. I had noticed he had some remnants from runny poops, so I thought it couldn't hurt to try. It's pretty cheap to try, so I', not out by much. And THE is guaranteed. Great customer support too. Love that company. |

| I have tried both products. I had no results from forco. I have seen results with THE muscle mass. THE products are great and you can add to fit each horses needs! |

If you didn't see any results from FORCO, I would say your horse didn't have any gut problems. |

I had a mare that didn't have diarrhea but her stools we looser then normal so I want to try it on her and I used it on my other 5 horses and saw no difference. I fed the reccommend dose and everything. |

How long did you feed it? It took a few months for me to see any benefit on my horses. They don't look night and day different, either. |

I fed it for about 3 1/2 months. I wanted to give it time so it could get in there system. I know it's a great product and the before and after pictures that some people have posted are great. But didn't see a difference in none of my horses. I feed ADM powerglo grain and equishure for my ulcer prone horses. |

I've got to order some more Forco soon -- let me get pricing & we might can split it? I'm in a tough spot myself right now and I realize we'd have to reorder faster but sometimes you gotta do what you gotta do...
If I were you, I'd put him on both MM and Forco and I might add ulcer prevent to the MM &/or ask Bob about a little vitamin E increase? Of course, I'm one to talk since ours is thinner than she's ever been right now, however, with her that might be a good thing?
CA, you also might want to try just the daily edge to begin with. If I remember correctly the MM works better if the horse is getting consistently worked. With our weather right now and the lack of daylight hours it makes working them consistently difficult for all of us. Lass is on her a special blend but I believe it's based on the performance which is daily edge (NTO, can correct me if I've got that wrong)

| I put some pictures in a post Sharing Pictures. The sorrel gelding just standing was on The Muscle Mass and also a pro/prebiotic. He had only been on for about a month in the picture, he really looked good on it. I feed The MM to everyone who is running and have been very impressed with the way they look. |

Location: Dearing, GA | I think at this point I'm leaning towards Muscle Mass with the Hair & Coat & Focus blends. Hearing that Forco was aimed at gut issues, I think I need Muscle Mass more. |

I can give you Nisha's contact info if you want to call and talk to her in more depth about it.
Oxy-max is their complete health supplement. You can get more specific supplements but for Cactus I think the complete would be good. Something you may want to do is talk to Bob if you do go with THE and make sure the muscle mass isn't going to cause issues if you are dealing with PSSM. You can get the same benefits out of THE if you do a special blend. I love THE but I've seen so much positive feed back through oxygen that I'm giving it a whirl. I like what Fluidity has done for Gator already. I just started their 2X Friday so I'll have to get back to you on how that goes.
