Location: Midwest | So I got one.... one side of the seat was OVER 1/2" longer from swell to cantle than the other side. Whole thing was horribly horribly crooked. Tried to return it when I noticed, site would not let me, sent it back to circle Y, they told me I would have to wait FOUR MONTHS for them to rebuild my replacement. After much back and forth with the retailer, they refunded my money, and I'm STILL out the shipping to send the d@mn thing back to circle Y.
So yeah, I'm none too pleased and you can bet the bank I'll never buy another circle Y.
edited to fix spelling
btw I can post the photo's if y'all like, but that whole situation really ground my gears. Neither Circle Y nor the retailer were willing to make the situation right within a reasonable amount of time.
the leather wasn't bad, and the seat was comfy, but it was not even usable.

another ETA: I 110% believe the retailer knew exactly what they were selling me in terms of the saddle being faulty.

| I really, really love mine! I got the regular model for my tall withered boy. I do have to ride a thick pad under it to keep it from settling on his withers. I don't like it as well on my wider, shorter withered gelding, but it's probably because it's not the wide model. Their two backs are about as different as you come. One's TB and one's QH. |

Location: Midwest | Oh, one more thing. I had to use a saddleright with this saddle. If I used any other pad, it would leave dry spots on his back for whatever reason. |

| I use a 5 star with mine. I've never had any problems with dry spots, just had trouble with it settling after breaking in so I had to buy a thicker pad. |

Location: northeast | I had one! Definitely not a higher quality saddle. Swell and cantle are wood and the seat and bars are treeless! I had the wide fit and it fit my hard to fit horse great! The stirrups are forward hung which I hated especially when running barrels! I was getting left behind because it sucks you in the seat. Otherwise, not a bad saddle if you like treeless. Resale is terrible and that will be my first and last treeless saddle! |

I bought a used one that was suppose to have had about 20 to 30 rides on it. It also was crooked and one of the biggest pieces of junk I've ever seen. Sent it back and was also out of shipping both ways. It was misrepresented as being lightly used or I would have been stuck with it. I couldn't believe someone was stupid enough to ride in it as much as they did not realizing there was a problem with it. |

I rode in mine a couple of times. I had never ridden I'm a treeless before and thought I had made some kind of user error... Tried various pads, different placements... I would have never thought the whole dang thing was crooked.
My husband took one look at it and was like "dang this thing isn't even close" lol |

Didn't you buy a Jackie J treeless after that or am I thinking of someone else?
If it was you, do you like the JJ? |

Yes I did. It's been the only saddle that has fit him. It is comfortable but sure is lacking in quality but anymore, that is typical for Circle Y.

Overall, I think I prefer treed saddles. Martin is supposed to be sending me a Crown C as a part of their test ride program, so I am hoping that works out a little better. LOL |

Didn't it feel like one leg was trying to go forward while the other was going backwards? LOL
I put it on my horse and saw how crooked it was. Took it off and put it on a saddle stand and saw how crooked it was plus how worn it was and kind of lost it..LOL I couldn't get it back in it's box and out of my sight fast enough. |

If you need to send it back, this is how to take photos that will force them to warranty it for you.
The part where I screwed up is that I did not notice it before the time limit for returns was up with the retailer. I ended up finally getting my money back this month... I had sent it back to circle Y 12/07/13 and they estimated shipment of my replacement to be 3/31/2014.
yeah, not cool. After much back and forth, they refunded my money. All they were willing to do was send me a free breastcollar or saddle pad for my troubles.
I didn't need that stuff... I needed a saddle... lol |
