I believe it is because under Obama we have been printing money without gold and silver to back it up. It's nothing more then monopoly money and the US dollar is collapsing and will no longer be the worlds recognized currancy. We have more going out then coming in and under NO circumstances can we, or anybody sustain that. We are getting ready to have a complete collapse. |

Yeah exactly! Who does that??? Nobody would in reality chose a nail gun and have the guts to withstand the pain to be able to shoot themselves 8 times! |

| Interesting, some were probably murders for sure. Our country and economy will likely get much worse before it gets better. I can't imagine anyone committing suicide over money. I guess I've never had much, so it's not such a big deal to me. |

Hong Kong/chinese/Japanese cultures are pretty different from Americans. Not sure if all were in Hong Kong, but at least two were.
I could see some of these folks doing themselves in over money/stress. JMO |

I would bet more than half of all adult suicides are because of money, probably even higher if they are male. |

This is sad because you can ALWAYS earn more money but you can never get your life back... even if you have to start from rock bottom, at least your alive and get to experience new things, heck you might even start to enjoy the things you learn starting over if you keep a positive attitude... I know it's not that simple but I wish people wouldn't kill themselves over it! :( |

Location: Silex Missouri | If you worked in the banking industry you would understand it completely. There is a lot of pressure on loan officers to bring in the loans. Then the loan officers have to maintain those loans. From car loans to home loans to business loans. When those loans go bad SOMEONE has to do the dirty work of repossessing the vehicle or home. And that someone is the loan officer. Who has to answer to the board of directors for the loan going bad. Customers can get really ugly when you start repossessing their stuff. And of course it is never the individual's fault. It somehow ends up being the banks fault. I know loan officers that have received death threats from customers. Threats against them and their families. The world is an ugly place and unfortunately banking is higher stress than some people think. Homes lost their values when the economy crashed and people have found that they now owe more than their homes are worth and they blame the banker for it. Or they want to refinance and can't because of the home's new appraised value. It is a vicious circle. I can see how the stress could get to someone. I feel for the families of the people who have taken their lives. |
