Location: Kansas | I gave Matt a headstall, some chocolates, some horse treats and a pair of polo wraps for Valentines Day. Super romantic I know. He sent me a picture of the headstall on his mare tonight and I think he'll be asking me to wrap her legs with the polos for our next barrel race.
For his birthday I gave him TOAST Screamin Menthol (pain relief cream), which he unfortunately needed immediately because he got dumped on his head at the rodeo that night. |

| Some things that I can think of at the moment is something for welding, since my man's a welder! Recently I got him some finger gloves for tig welding and a Lucky Bucky shirt that says I brake for beer because he loves his beer. Lol. I haven't given it to him yet though! For Valentines Day I got him a camo tool bag and put a card, chocolate covered cherries he likes, and little candles :) I bought him a a custom leather koozie, a knife with his initials engraved, etc! Hope those help :) |

Unfortunately, my guy will not use polos and doesn't quite believe in horse treats... I know, I know... how dare he! lol |

| And yes! He seemed to like everything and uses it! I've bought him an antler lamp, coon hunting stuff (he loves to coon hunt), camo sheets and things for his truck, etc! He seemed to enjoy and appreciate everything! |

| Well...it's the thought that counts! Lol. I also was looking into a woman who makes custom leather console covers for trucks! My boyfriend's like you and usually just wants to take me somewhere and let me pick something out actually! But he usually does good when he doesn't let me pick, especially when he got me a shotgun! I'm sure your's would like and appreciate whatever you got him :) |

Location: Southeast Louisiana | Take him to some place like Bass Pro or one of the tack stores or hunting shops (or whatever he's into), just to look around or tell him you're going to look for something. I like to surprise mine with something I saw him admiring, or something he mentioned that he liked.
For valentines day, I got him a large camo duffel bag. He mentioned a while back that he wanted one to put all of his hunting stuff for the camp together in one bag so he wouldn't forget any of it when he goes. I also got him a couple of other small things he'd mentioned. I think the part of the gift that he appreciates is that I was listening. |

| Completely agree! That's where some of the gifts I got came from! And to me, because I'm a sap sometimes, really really appreciate something that's heartfelt and not so expensive. You don't have to impress me with something fabulous or expensive, I really appreciate a card or love letter or something little that I like or I've wanted or that I've been looking at! That really means the world to me...just like on Valentines Day I told my boyfriend, because he was busy, I honestly just want your time. And I mean that. As much as I like some expensive things, I like the simple things most! |

Location: Phoenix | I've gotten my boyfriend...
electric shaver (he hates shaving manually) paper shredder (because he's a nerd) socks (because who doesn't love new socks?!) new belt and wallet
And he's loved all of it. His favorite gift was his first birthday present I gave him....we were sort of dating but not so I got him a bunch of cat toys for his cats, his candy he liked and dental floss (some inside joke I don't even remember). Just thoughtful stuff. He keeps telling me to get him a picture of me for his office at work. |

LOL - I think Matt is worse than I am about horse treats. (which is pretty bad) Basically I try to get him things that are usable. for Christmas I did splurge on an 11x17 framed collage of his bareback riding pictures from MRCA finals, and that was a hit. of course I also gave him a hoof pick, a brush, some treats, and a salt rock for the horses. I'm entirely too practical sometimes. |

| I think the next "just because" gift I get my hubby will be a "manpack". He's nearly impossible to buy for because if he needs/wants something he just gets it for himself. This time there will be a random package in the mail consisting of some "fancy" underwear, a new t-shirt, good socks, and some good soap or deodorant or something, and not only do I know he'll use it, its something he'd never expect. manpacks.com. Im excited to give it a try. |

| A gift card, then he can get what he wants! At least that is what I would want. |
