| If I put this post up it'll make me feel even more obligated in continuing this getting fit/health journey so that's what I'm gonna do! I started eating healthy again with hardly eating any bread and pasta, drinking more water, and working out in January, and I just quit my birth control a few weeks ago and here are my results! I've still had some weeks where I didn't eat what I should've or worked out near enough but it's a work in progress. The left is the before and the right is a few days ago. It doesn't look like a big difference with the side pictures but I'm working on it. Mind you I haven't crapped in days so stomach bloating is something I deal with all the time. Lol. I have a longggg way to go and it's embarrassing because I'm only 20 years old and never thought I'd gain weight like this until I was pregnant or older, if anything, and I did. I've been through a lot of stress and have digestive issues (and living with your grandparents who think that they can offer me chili over fries for protein or that eating 2 or 3 cookies a day is "in moderation" does NOT help. Lol) so I think that has a little to do with it but I'm not making any excuses because I love to eat! It's sad because this is the second time I've gained weight like this, both of them being my first semesters of college and I'm a sophomore now, and then I'd lose the weight during the spring/summer,etc. I'd say I've lost 10 lbs but haven't weighed myself and go off of my jeans which I'm happy to say I can fit into my jeans and shorts that I couldn't button up! Those include the high waisted vintage Wranglers, which I'm sure you all know can be a tight squeeze! They still are but I can fit into them! I have 10-15 lbs until I'm back to my high school weight and to where I'd like to be! This time I am THROUGH with gaining weight every year. I am going to continue to be healthy and make healthy decisions and get to where I want to be! I'm looking to be lean and strong and confident more than anything!! It's not a lot but if I can do it, and this is coming from someone who wasn't taught healthy eating habits and still struggles with it today, you can do it too!

| AWESOME!!!!!!!!!!!
Good for you! And SO glad to hear someone say that they are going to try their darndest to stick with their new healthy habits and not do the yo-yo thing over and over. Getting to a healthy weight and just being healthy in general absolutely is a lifestyle - not a temporary thing.
You can do it!

| Thank you so much guys!! All of your encouragement and compliments truly made me smile! It's really hard at times but I'm going to continue this journey for sure!! During some of my high school years I used to eat whatever I wanted and was still thin, but I've just realized that that's not healthy and I'm changing more, not just to look good! |

| Thanks everyone!! I definitely won't give up!! I have a twin sister and we're both trying to do this together so it's nice to have a support system even though we're not together (she goes to a different school). We're shooting to lose another 5 lbs by the end of my spring break which is in three weeks because we're going to reward ourselves with matching sister tattoos |
