Location: Wisconsin | Good, the bad on them? I know they no longer build them, but I'm looking at a barely used one for sale, seems they are well built from what I can tell. Anyone have or had one to share opinion? |

| They were made by the original makers of the once WELL MADE 4 Stars. No better trailer, IMO. I owned one, and sold it for a smaller 4Star. The 4Start is NOT the quality of the C&C. They still weld where 4Star went to weaker rivets, along w/other lower standards. Nab it quick! You will NOT regret it! |

Location: Bixby, Ok | I have a 4 horse stock combo slant with a 2 ft short wall and a platinum LQ and the two trailers are built about the same. It has been a great trailer. No complaints |

| Ditto to what Bingo said. Several years ago the C&C's were almost identical to the 4Stars and Elite's. I have owned one of each and I can tell you I would buy another C&C in a heartbeat. It was the BEST trailer I have ever owned. 4Star has downgraded the quality of their trailer in recent years so I would rather have a used C&C than a new 4Star or Elite. |

| C&C trailers are very high quality. My LQ is a C&C, it's my second C&C LQ. I loved my first one so much that I had my current one custom built from them. So glad I got it just before they quit building them. My smaller 3H gooseneck is an Elite and I would say quality-wise they are equal. I don't think you'll be disappointed with a C&C. |

They are better than Elites, I had a C&C that I traded for a brand new Elite a year ago. I wish I had my C&C back. The only reason I traded was because I needed a 5 horse and the one I traded was a 4 horse. |

Location: Crowder, OK | Best trailers!!!!!!!!!! very sad they are no longer made! I have had four of them! Ive had a new four star, a sooner, a featherlite, but over the years the C&Cs Ive had have all been the best hands down! I have literally left cups w/water in them on the counters, left a brush on the fender one time and it rode all the way from my house to my mothers an hour away, no joke!!!!!!!! they are the best! I would like to have a newer trailer just because Id like to have a bigger LQ, but I just cant part w/mine because I know its made better than any of the newer ones and I would regret selling it. |

| I have one that I really like. But I can understand the Co. going out of business. I had a couple of problems with it right after we got it, and the Co. was of absolutely no help in either case. |

It went out of business because of problems stemming from using features that were patented by either 4 Star or Elite, can't remember which. Anway, one of the owners of C&C came from one of those other companies and was using some of there technology. There was a lawsuit and they were going to have to give up a good bit of profits to continue in business - this all happened right at the time the economy hit the rocks - THAT is why there are no longer in business. They had been building trailers and selling them as fast as they could before all that happened. Awesomely built, excellent quality trailers. You're the first person I've known of to say something so negative about them like that.
Let me qualify the above statement by saying, this is the information I was told from a reliable source but I DO NOT know that it is true for fact! Could just be gossip or just hear say but I do know they were doing a booming business before going out.

Location: SW Missouri | LOVE mine! Bought mine new in 07 and the next spring went directly to C&C to have hay pod and a step going into the first slant installed. The company was great to work with, sure wish they were still around. Mine is 4H with LQ and am currently shopping for a stock trailer, would buy a C&C again in a heartbeat

Location: Indiana | C&C's were a well built trailer, even thought they are no longer in business I would still recommend them. I would say for people looking for a new trailer to look at Platinum, I'd consider them a sister to C&C if you compare the similarities and the construction. |
