| NEVER ... every state below you needs all the runoff they can get due to droughts and excessive water usage .... Mother Nature is doing her job to make it happen .. |

What blows my mind is you are in Wyoming and have an abundance of snow - to the east of us in Minnesota they have an abundance of snow. Here in SD we have none. How does the weather pattern do that? I don't feel too bad about lack of snow as when it finally does warm up we'll warm up fast because of bare ground but I'll be happy to take some spring rains. We went into the winter super dry. We just have the horrible cold. Tonight's prediction is -21 actual air temp - Saturday our high is -7. |

Location: Wyoming | I hate to complain because of the past years drought. It's just hard trudging thru all the white stuff. It should help the spring grass. We are suppose to get another dump this weekend. |

| We have about a foot and pretty chilly. My parents live 15 miles from me and they have 27 inches my brother in law is just above there place and he has 4 ft. I hate to complain too much but I am tired of if and ready for some sunshine. My tractor didn't want to start so about kill myself trying to push the hay cart around. We haven't had it as bad as some other places at least we will have water this summer for making hay ! |

Location: Montana | This is as cold and snowy of a winter we have had for a while and I'm getting tired of it too. So much darned shoveling! I know places need water, but around here when it melts it becomes an ice rink (like the whole town!). Because of the weather and roads (I board my horse) I've not been able to ride in over a month! Spring has to be coming soon are my thoughts! |

That's the total truth too. March is usually our snowiest month. A lot of those storms are calf killers is the bad part. |

I used to think that, until this winter when we got snow when it was bitterly cold (like below zero or single digits).
This has been the worst weather I have ever lived through (Chicago area). Everyone is calling it Chi-beria. |

I used to think it had to warm up to snow as well until this year. We have had snow ranging from -10 or colder up to 50 degrees this year. |

Well it looks like we should be getting about another foot. This has been a rough winter for sure. It's been better some days at my daughters who lives in Minot. I hate that bitter cold especially when the wind is going 90. |

Did you notice I said up in the sky where the clouds and temperature dictate if you get snow, sleet or rain and temp down below likes freezing rain ...
Did you know that 3 inches of snow usually averages to be 1 inch of rain ...
and there is enough nitrogen trapped in the snow to almost equal fertilizing each acre with a 100 lbs of nitrogen fertilizer ....
