Chicken Puffs with gravy and cheesy green beans and a glass of wine. I'm indulging since Grey's Anatamy is on tonight.

I think I'll bake some chicken, rice and veggies.
For the chicken I get shredded Parmesan cheese, Italian dressing mix, garlic salt mix together and put on top of the chicken, bake and broil at the end.
So yummy!

Here's the recipe. For the gravy, I take the cream of chicken soup and put a little milk in it to thin it out some. Just depends on how runny you want it. I also don't sprinkle with bread crumbs. And make sure your chicken is cooled off a little before you add it to the cream cheese mixture...otherwise it gets way too runny. It's really good.

CHICKEN PUFFS

1 can cream of chicken soup
1 (8 oz.) can crescent rolls
3 oz. cream cheese
3 tbsp. melted butter
1/4 tsp. salt
1/8 tsp. pepper
2 tbsp. milk
4 chicken breasts, cooked and chopped
1/4 c. seasoned bread crumbs

Mix cream cheese, butter, milk, salt, and pepper. Add chicken and mix well. Place crescent rolls in 4 squares on a greased cookie sheet. Spoon chicken mixture onto each. Bring the 4 corners of each crescent roll together and twist. Brush with melted butter and sprinkle with bread crumbs. Bake at 350 degrees for 20-25 minutes until golden brown. Serve with cream of chicken soup as gravy.

I made chicken spaghetti last night. Easy: cooked spaghetti, rotel, cream of mushroom, chicken broth, velveeta. Done! (and I forgot to add the main ingredient--chicken).

Last night I had some of Ms Rhoda's homemade tamales, fried okra we put up last summer, and spring greens with feta cheese and balsamic vinegar. I'm eclectic.

I'm making easy chili pie.  Cook hamburger meat, drain.  Add rotel, ranch style beans.  Heat for a little while.  Pour over fritos add shredded cheese or onions.  It's so easy and good

Not a clue for tonight but last night I made burger patties, put sliced cheese inside the burger, seasoned and grilled. Toasted the buns with butter in a black skillet and spread on sour cream. Topped the burgers with fresh pico de gallo, a bit of salsa, and some olives. One of the best burgers I ever made.

Fried pork chops. I was dying for spaetzle, but don't have any swiss cheese :( So, probably a veggie and some cooked apples to go with.

Can I have your poppy seed chicken recipe, baurbaby ? I used to have a good one but lost it. I tried a new one this week and didn't like it.
