| OK so who on here is going ???? Who is meeting me there? If you are running Are you in Futurity? Slot Race? Are you pole Bending?? Is the poles a 2 run and short go?
Most importantly WHO is going to win the pony race??? I have to tell you each year they have impressed me more and more the way its run. I saw this year its a full video arcade and movies each night to entertain the kids (I guess the kids that don't ride or are not riding that night)
They think of everything
Does Kristi herself run in the event?
Watching the American this weekend and then I'm just heading to Diamonds & Dirt. I am going to be a happy camper for the month of March with all this racing

If your flyer says 9am start then start at 9am. For the cost of the entry fees and what I had to pay for fuel/food etc it wasn't worth it. There were a 2 other incidents that ticked me off. I won't be attending again. |

Location: Bastrop, Texas | I'm impressed at how much this has done for barrel racing. Hats off to the Schillers! I'd love to give it a try someday. Maybe next year. |

| I'll be there to watch a few different times.
I did notice some schedule changes this year that I think will make it better from an entertainment perspective, and even for competitors.

If you like Mexican food, there is a Chuys in College Station - 1512 Harvey Road. Really good! |

If you want a more Mexican type (Instead of TexMex) and not a chain...Los Mocajetes at Texas and Villa Maria in Bryan is tasty.
Casa Rodriguez in Bryan has a good breakfast. I usually get the migas or pancakes.
If I know what kind of food you're looking for, I can give suggestions!!! |

Location: west of East Texas | My 11 yo DD and I are running twice each on Sunday. We are on Spring Break in Colorado right now so we won't be able to go hang out any until then. Depending what time we get home Saturday I would surely like to go watch some that day. We have been to the first two and look forward to seeing the latest additions. I will say the holding pen crew was a little grouchy last year but I would be too if I had to deal with 'us' all week. :) It's fun, unique and we've really enjoyed it.
As far as eating, you can find whatever you want. If you have some particular craving, I could help you out. |

Location: Texas | I am up Saturday!! I got to visit last year when I was getting my pre vet school rabies shots. I walked around the shopping venue and told mom we HAD to enter next year. Well, we did!!
I'm 24 and 76 on Saturday, and my sister is 64. It'll be my fourth run on my new horse so it'll be pretty exciting :) :)
Good luck Rodeomom3!! |

Location: The edge of no where | Really sad my mare isn't ready to run at this. I've heard nothing but positive things about it, and been told it's not a race you want to miss. Hopefully next year we can go! |

I don't have a dog n this at all but they've only out on 2 ever so if they didn't start directly on time is
That really so bad to not attend one of the best races?? Not to
Mention what that race is doing for the barrel racing industry as a whole. It's my opinion your the one missing out on a race that's going to get better every year.
