| Does anyone have this problem?
When hauling with our trailer with our lights on we often get people who flash their brights at us. We have even stoped at a red light and had someone on the other side of the intersection flash their lights at us. When the light turns green we stop in the middle and rolled down the window concerned that the road my be closed ahaead, something is wrong with our trailer, or just to see what he was flaging us down for just to be told our "bright lights are on prick". They clearly were not but that has happened twice with two different people!
It gets old driving on these country roads with this trailer having people blinding you for know reason. Please tell me someone else has this issue!!! |

Location: Roping pen | I would say that your springs are getting weaker on the back axle and allowing the front of your pickup to raise up when the tongue weight of the trailer is applied.
3 fixes that I know of is to have a repair shop re-aim lights with trailer on, but that could become an issue when not hooked up as lights will be to low.
Could get the springs "re-built" or replaced.
Other option is to put air bags or other load leveling device on that will keep truck level, loaded or not.
Or just put up with it.
Good luck! |

Location: Southeast Louisiana | Are you driving with your foglights on (some people call them driving lights)??
Some people don't realize their secondary lights are just as bright as having the high beams on, especially when pulling a trailer. |

If so, you should just throw them in the garbage... everybody hates those except the ignorant people who have them and drive around blinding everyone. :) |

Bravo. Yes!!! And on some states it s considered failure to dim which is a finable offense. Fog light are used in raining and fog lol. otherwise turn them off when you meet people. And I agree on those HI lights |

Location: The Great West | If you have LED headlights they seem brighter. they may need adjusted, but if you only get flashed when your trail earring it may not be the case. Also there are some differences between trailer plug wiring for dodge and ford and your trailer may be wired for ford. |

| It happened with my 2006 ALL.THE.TIME. - and It STILL happened after I took it to the dealer to check the headlights. I take that back - it was my 2003 - no issues with my 2006.

Yes! My husband drives with the foglights on quite often and always gets angry when he gets flashed. I keep telling him to turn his foglights off when vehicles are coming towards him but you know you can't tell a man how to drive. So then I just say well get use to getting flashed and quit complaining about it. |

| Had the same issue with ours and yes, you can just adjust the headlights down a bit. Simple fix. |

Excellent! This is why I read this board. Learned something new and going to take our ranch truck in to see about the springs. |
