Ok so I saw on Pinterest a bra size calculator. The article said that most woman are wearing the wrong size bra so I thought I would do it. I measured 29" under my bust and 31" around my bust. I put in the info and it told me to get a 28C!!!! Whaaatt?! It is no secrete that I could possibly pass for a young boy with my lack of lady lumps. How is this possible?! Is this thing a joke?!

This article kind of explains bra size a bit. Bra sizing can be so confusing and I'm not sure why it has to be. lol

Most women are wearing to small of bra and don't realize it. Your bra size also will change with your weight and age. I always thought I was a 34D when actually I am a 32DD. I needed a larger cup(wider) and smaller band. If I were you I would definitely try it if I were you, you may be surprised!

It's true a lot of people do wear the wrong size. I worked in a head office for a high end swim and lingerie company and we carried up to size KK. I was shocked when I first sized myself I thought I was a big c cup but fit a 34DD like a glove; but it does look and feel better. If you saw a 28c you realize how tiny it is. The fabric on a c cup differs based on band size so there is a lot less then a 34-36 C. When fitting you need to have the part in between the breasts lay flat against your breast bone and be able to have a finger or two fit under the elastic. If you have a boutique near you that offers sizing I would go to be sure. Most of the girls at Victoria secret or other stores don't have the proper training. A stigma in today's society is a c or d is huge but in reality more people are that then you think and a lot more are bigger but companies get you because they only make small size runs. Straps are just for positioning and minor support. You shouldn't have the indents on your shoulders like a lot of people do

They are around. As I said before if you have a boutique they are the best place to start. Companies like the little bra company, Fit Fully Yours, Stephanie Johnson, and if I remember right Blush make those sizes. Out of them all fit fully yours is the best bra for your $$. IMO. You may have to get them to order that size in but they should still make and carry that size. Little bra company is for a specific type of breast we found and not many were comfortable in that, the other two are ok but I found blush's quality not as great. Online stores may have them but going to one is the best. Also every bra fits differently so trying is the best way. I have also seen them at winners/marshals in Canada don't know about over in the US. Target? Places where they sell excess bras because of the stigma companies don't make as many or places don't stock them.

Well, I finally went to get a new bra and found I was wearing *2* cup sizes too small!!!  For years and years (and a few more years) I've worn the same cup size, but I bet for at least 15 of those years and years I've needed a bigger cup size and didn't realize it since I've been buying online for that long.  I can say absolutely that the right cup size makes a difference in the comfort of the bra.

Go to Victorias Secret and they'll measure you and size you with limited awkward-ness. I also have never heard of a 28 in bra size. I don't understand why bras are so confusing I'm ready to cut mine off and buy fake ones so they stay the same dang size all the time.

I wear a 32 DD and my boobies are not large. My mama thinks I'm crazy but her bras don't fit right.

We have no good stores around here except we have Victoria's Secret and target. Everyone makes fun of me bc I'm wearing a 32B which is what Victoria's Secret sized me at a couple years ago but I really think I need a tighter band and the cup isn't too big or too small but I feel like it's not right. But everyone says I'm crazy for wearing that because there is no way my boobs are big enough. They are very confusing!!!

I wish we had a good bra store around here. I'm just about the farthest a girl can get from being "busty" lol

I just showed their video for an example. They do a great job explaining fit. Although I love their bras as well. Everyday wear and super comfy for a decent price.

So many people wear the wrong size, that it is unbelievable. I dont consider myself to have a huge chest, by any means, but I wear a 34DDD. The band size is snug and supportive, so thats correct. The cups hold my stuff in. If I go to any different cup size, I pour over.

A 28?!  heck I wear a 32B and that is hard enough to find.  Most of the time I have to special order these from JCPenney.  I picked up some 34Bs at JCPenneys on sale, I was so excited about getting $30-$40 bras for $12, HA not a deal they kept riding up and cutting my lil breast in half.  JCPenny has a Jr department that carries smaller sizes, but the shoulder straps were not long enough for me.  (I'm 5'9" big shouldered long legs and arms and no bust.)

Yep a 28. I wear 32 and I feel like they could easily be tighter but I didn't think that much. I was thinking maybe a 30

With a 28 if it's too tight start on the outside biggest closure and as you wash and wear it over time the fabric and elastic stretches and move into the next clip in etc. you will get more wear out of one that way.
