The "How many Generations" post got me thinking, what stallions do you think really stamp their foals or really have an influence on grandget? I truly believe in a strong dam line, but I have noticed over the years that there are some studs that really stamp their babies, no matter how the mare is bred or looks conformationally. As far as current sires, I have noticed the Ivory James colts all have the same "look" about them, the same with the Streakin La Jolla horses I've been around. What are some others off the top of your head?

Frenchman's Guy's have the same look mostly - to me
Game Patriot's almost all look the same
Dashin Bye
Streakin Six

That's all I've got off the top of my mushy brain right now. I'm sure I'll think of more around 3 am :)

LRQHS, you were who I was hoping would respond! LOL. A coworker and I were discussing it today that I really thought that the Streakin Six/La Jolla's all kind of looked the same to me (which def isn't a bad thing!). She mentioned Jess Louisiana Blue, because of his eyes. The more Okey Dokey Dale's I've owned and bred, they all have the same attitude, but definitely lean more towards the mare every time.

The Streakin Six horses do have a look about them. I'll think of more. My brain is just noodle soup right now lol. Corona Cartel son's and daughter's are similar looking.

I have to agree Streakin Six horses you can usually pick out and DTF really does!  Some call it his ugly head lol.  Frenchmans Guy can really stamp one with a head to die for and similar build.  I think a lot of Sun Frost horses have pretty heads though :

I think physically, firewater flit.  His head, neck and front shoulder.  I can pick that build out most anywhere.

The Fame's for sure, but i'm only seeing it in his direct get.  The sons and daughters don't seem to be passing on that head, darn it.....I kinda like it!  I'd have to agree with the Streakin Six horses and would like to add that On The Money Red would stamp his as well I thought.  Every single colt/filly i've seen by Fly Jess Fly looks exactly alike.  Love the way they profile....very similar look to a Fame.

I always thought the coup de kas horses looked similar. And any Peppey San Badger horses just have a certain "look" to me

I can pick a Royal Shake Em or a Shazoom out of field in nothing flat (or a yearling sale walk ring).

Streakin Sixes babies are also pretty stamped.  I'm sure there are more, but those are who immediately come to mind.

Letta Hank Do It, they seem to all have the same head, some aren't quite as big as others but you can still see it.

Royal Shake Em for sure, and if they don't look like him then they will be the most un athletic thing you have ever sat on, don't ask me how I know that.

I agree that Fames and FG I think you can really tell especially own get. I think my two year old grand get really has the DTF look but her full brother is their dam's mini me.

I'm good at picking out dash ta fames… I am really hoping my firewater ta fame comes out looking a lot like the DTFs I've seen.. long old DTF head and all (I personally love dash ta fame heads, LOL)

I think Stoli stamps his babies….I can pick out a Stoli!

And I agree about the FGs for the most part, they look typey- especially their heads.

Oh and Frenchmans Fabulous. I can pick out one of those in a heart beat.

I totally agree. LHDI tends to throw his big size and big head. Some people hate it, but I think it adds character. Mine has a huge head, but she is a gentle giant.

I think a lot of the FWF have the same running style.
