I did a search and I cant find a post to fit my question- if you know of one feel free to direct me lol
I have a Martin and I LOVE it. It seems to fit everything I have put it on. I am looking to get another saddle because I am about to have 4 horses and 1 saddle. 1 has a good set of withers but not "wide" in the back but just turned 5. 2 have a good set of withers but a wide back with good muscle and 1 is 3yo with little to no withers and a wide muscley back.
Question: what brand would you go with? $1000 used price range
(no $3000 saddles lol
)

Around the 1000 I would try to get a billy cook from Oklahoma and I would go with a 2031, this style has a Lynn mckenzie tree. It fits a variety of horses including the wider ones.

I'm not a huge fan of the way the billy cooks ride. Do you have any other possible suggestions? Those saddles look about 1300 new. I could do a more expensive, used saddle I think if that helps at all.

Maybe the Double J lynn Mackenzie. I really like how they sit and you can usually find them used for a decent price.

I've seen used Double J LM's for around 1000, maybe a bit more
The only other thing I could think in your price range would be a used Circle Y? They usually sell relatively fast, in case you have to resell it. The older ones are better made than the newer ones
(JMO
). I'd look for the wide tree... the reg is pretty narrow.
