Location: Kansas | To send papers back? I called them monday while I was in North Dakota on the return of my mares papers since they cashed my check...was told they mailed her papers back on the 12th. How long does it normally take to get the papers back from mail? |

Location: Kansas | The transfer took a week for them to do and cash the check, a woman I spoke with at AQHA said they mailed the papers back to me over a week ago.
Knowing my luck they got lost in the mail LOL |

| I always pay the extra $15 to have it rushed. Got my most recent back in less than 10 days, without the additional for fedex. |

| If you think AQHA is bad, send a set of papers to APHA. It was 5 months. |

Location: Randolph, Utah | I mailed transfer papers out on march 5th and got them back the end of last week. And I did not rush. There was an issue with one transfer but they sent a letter about it that I got with my other stuff.
Hope you get your papers back soon. |

Boy isn't that the truth. I had more issues back when we had paints too. I had a dun tobiano stallion and was breeding him to mostly QH mares. A sorrel mare had a sorrel tobiano filly. The filly was light red, but for sure a sorrel. They argued and made me send extra pics and all. For gosh sakes, I would have LOVED for her to have been a dun! So why in the world would I be trying to lie and say she is sorrel lol. |

Just emailed AQHA and the response was very fast. They said my papers were just printed and will be shipped out in the next 3-5 days and I should recieve them by end of March!

I did this also. Took about three weeks to get my papers back. |

Location: Where I am happiest | If AQHA said they mailed them out to you on the 12th then you have a post office issue. Once they get sent then it's the mail thats the hold up. My husband just transfered a horse the beginning of the month and it was less then 2 weeks and we had them back. We were both shocked it was so fast this time. LOL |

This may be true elsewhere but AQHA has a thing about telling everyone such and such was mailed when in fact it is sitting on someone's desk. I have had it happen multiple times. You can check the post mark date to verify. When the date is off by weeks.... and this isn't a one time occurance. |

Location: Royal J Performance Horses, AZ | I must be the luckiest person in the world according to this forum. Cause i've gotten 6 new AQHA broodmares + a mare i picked up to flip sent in their papers from any where between Dec-Feb ( i picked the mares up at a different times from different places.) and got all the papers back in my name in 3 weeks.
and APHA has never taken more than a month for me to regs a foal, transfer papers, nada.
I've never had an issue with either so far. That being said.... let me find some wood.... |
