No personal experience, but I've heard good things and would love to own one.

Do a forum search, there was a thread just like this a couple weeks ago. I had a daughter out of a Takin On The Cash mare and really liked her. We bought her with her dam and sold her as an unstarted 3yr old this spring. She was super dominant towards other horses, but really liked people and easy to get along with. Smart, but also willful. I would take another for a broodmare in a heartbeat.

I had a Royal Quick Dash that I held a few years for a guy. I wasn't overly impressed. She stress foundered after having a foal and I couldn't keep her sound enough afterwards. We spent a lot of money on that mare. She did have a gorgeous Heza Fast Dash filly for us though.

We got a giggle several years back at the Heritage Place Yearling sale when we noticed 4 in a row by Royal  Quick Dash out of Chicks Beduino mares all flip over while being paraded before their turn in the Sales ring.  Then we were walking down one of the aisles and we heard everyone yelling "LOOK OUT", and here comes this big bay colt dragging a poor Mexican at a gallop.  We look him up in our catalog and Yep, you guessed it!  A RQD out of a Chicks Beduino.  Lol

All the RQD or RSE horses I have been around have all been kittens! I love them, one of my favorite bloodlines. They are sensible, willing, light/responsive. Mine loves to have a job and learn new things. You can tell when he is bored and ready for a new challenge.

I love the look of them. Have been looking for a 'perfect' royal quick dash mare for a while and wouldn't rule out a Royal Shake Em. I am picky on what I like to see them crossed with.

Only a granddaughter of RQD - but this is my hotrod mare.  She is a sweetie on the ground, and depending on what you're asking of her, on her back too.  She's all business from the moment her competition bit goes on, but nothing out of control.

I have a Royal Quick Dash that you couldn't pry out of my cold dead hands!! LOVE HIM! So smart, athletic, and can absolutely fly....not to mention he has a giant personality. He's kind of a mess, but very sweet also.

I have a son of Barely Royal(By Royal Shake Em), and I don't have any bad things to say about him. I'm waiting on another this spring crossed on a Corona Czech mare.

My colt is so level headed I often forget he's just a baby. And he's put together very well, the most solid, healthy feet I've seen on a baby.

I also leased a daughter of Royal Shake Em a year or two ago that was amazing. Smooth, smart, athletic. If I could have afforded her then I would have bought her.

Had a daughter of RSE that was a real dink. Bad feet, bad attitude, fine bone, very spooky. Her foals acted just like her, we don't own her or any of her babies anymore. I'd rather have a daughter of Royal Quick Dash!

Would love to have a RSE offspring. Two of my friends have had geldings out of him and they were sensible, easy going and just fun to be around, great personality and good feet and bone. Love them.

We have a daughter. She tries really hard to please, is sensitive, and really nice to look at. She ran AA on the track and was out of a really nice producing mare. The only thing I dislike about her is taking care of all of her HAIR!

We also just lost our son of Royal Quick Dash. He was one of the smartest, most athletic horses I think I've ever been around. Tried really, really hard.
