Thoughts?
I know that most I see are leather, but my Billy Cook didn't come with anything years ago when I bought it. Now I am looking for a set to match my saddle and it'll cost me around $85-90 for Billy Cook branded ones.
If my current saddle doesn't fit whatever horse I end up buying I plan on buying something nicer, so I hate to sink even more money into this one. I do have a saddle sitting in the house
(for decoration
) that has the whole set up, but it's nylon. Is nylon bad? Does it cause discomfort for a horse?

I don't use nylon as it doesn't stretch, I use leather and change out my billet straps yearly, I would rather be safe then sorry.
