| Looking at the Pro Force Fuel. I have NOT been a Nutrena fan in the past, but my farrier says his horses are looking GREAT on this feed and that it's now a fixed formula. I'll have to do a little more research on it, but was wondering if anyone is using it and how you like it? |

| That is some heavy duty stuff! High Fat, High Energy! I just read about all 4 categories and it is high octane.

LOL, that's why I'm asking! I have a couple that are kinda fruity without high powered feed. I currently feed ADM Patriot and they look pretty good. I wanted to try the Renew Gold, but I'd have to pay $48/bag and I'm not paying that. |

Location: Riding Crackhead. | I've never tried the Pro Force but I'll read up on it. I'm feeding one of my horses the SC Senior. He's looking pretty darn good on it and I, like you, wasn't a Nutrena fan prior to trying it. Needing a low starch feed is why I gave it a whirl. I'll have to research the one you're asking about. |

I'd have to drive about 55-60 miles to get it, but drive 47 miles each way now, so no biggie. My farrier pays $18 a bag(he gets like $1 of per bag for buying 20 bags of feed.) I pay $21 for the SC Senior at TSC or the local feed store. I decided to try the SC senior because unlike many other senior feeds, including ADM, you don't have to feed a huge amount. |

I can get the SC Sr for $19 a bag and about every 2 months they put it on sale for $17 at one of the local farm supply stores. I just received an email for $2 off a bag and it let me print as many coupons as I want. Can't beat that. I did try ADM on my gelding but he got real runny while on that so I had to pull him off. The closest dealer for that is 110 miles away so that would have been tough to feed. |

| It would take me longer to go get the Pro Force, but since it's 13% fat I ought to be able to feed a bit less, or at least I'd think so..........so maybe wouldn't have to go as often??? IDK. I am thinking about seeing if my Farrier will pick me up a few bags and just try the fruity horses on it and see how they do and look. |

| I was a safe choice fan....senior & perform...i made the switch I have two mares on fuel and it is the best. they are eating half the amount and looking so much better not to mention their attitudes are amazing. I also swear by the triple crown senior i wont change anything again! |

Location: Florida | I used to be a die hard Seminole Wellness feeder, but recently switched my whole barn to Nutrena due to moving and not having Seminole locally. And, OMG, they looked good before but look GREAT now! I use 4 different Nutrena feeds, but since you asked about the ProForce, I mix in just a couple handfuls of the "XTN" Proforce with one of our mares feed and she has definitely gotten a pep in her step. She has shaved off a whole second off her times, no other changes. We swear by it. Everyone that sees us on a regular basis asks what we have done different with our horses! |

Location: USA | I LOVE the Pro Force! I only have to feed 1 scoop a day to my hard keepers and they look FANTASTIC! My TB's look like their either a high quality warmblood or a QH off the track, LOL  (I've even had people ask if they were, lol) I only have to feed 3/4 of a scoop to my other horses and they all look great! Their muscled and their overall health is GREAT! My barrel mare has lot more focused energy and runs a lot harder for me. I even accidently fell off at my last rodeo. No Joke! But it was my fault mainly I wasn't sitting deep enough in my saddle at my pocket at my first barrel, lol. But she never ever went that fast before even my family and friends were amazed at how fast she went! And we're not talking about a horse that if you kicked or whipped once it'll go fast. We're talking about a horse that even if I kept kicking or whipping she would not go any faster just slower, lol She is literally THE laziest horse in the world! lol. And I would highly recommend this feed to anyone  |

Location: kentucky | I have not seen this feed before but just googled it. I switched over to the Legends Performance and it seems pretty comparable, has anyone used the Legends ? I have a mare that is not really much caring for it and I wondered if it could be the high fat ? Does anyone else have this problem that uses high fat grains ? |

I'm trying to find someone locally who has it in stock. I have an ottqh who is proving to be a harder keeper than what I'm used to. |

Location: NC | I wouldn't hesitate to try it. They finally have a high fat, high fiber feed available to their customers. The SafeChoice varieties are OK, but the Pro Force is MUCH better in my opinion.
Higher fat means that you don't have to feed 90lbs a day. You still HAVE to feed the minimum amount though! If you don't, you need to feed a vitamin/mineral supplement with it, since they won't be getting anything from the less than minimum amount.
I feed a 14 protein, 10 fat, 16 fiber feed and my herd looks great without being high on crack and crazy. I feed 6-8lbs a day depending on the horse's needs. And yes, MEASURE your feed by WEIGHT! You will save so much money.
High fat and high fiber with low(er) starch is a MUCH healthier way to feed horses. :)

I GET AMAZING COMMENTS ON ALL MY HORSES ALL THE TIME..... FEEDING LESS AND LOOKING BETTER I HAVE HARD KEEPERS AND EASY. IVE HAD SEVERAL PEOPLE GIVE IT A TRY I KNOW AND THEY HAVE COMPLETELY SWITCHED AND LOVE IT ALSO!!!!
MY GUYS LOVE IT; EAT IT BETTER THAN OTHER FEEDS!!!
i use to feed legend performance textured and switch all mine to triple crown complete few years ago.. i recently moved and was unable to have easy access to complete was looking and found the fuel.
it will make a mash easy if need and nutrena is always sending out 2 dollar off coupons ALWAYS HELPFUL!!!
i loved the results i got and none of mine got hot from it...
