Location: Displaced Iowegian | I did that once.....I was a supervisor over two plants, had the least amount of absentee employees and the highest production levels but all I got was CRAP from the head guy......he came in on Monday to find me GONE!!! Sometimes, a person's sanity is far more important than the "ego" of a crappy boss! I had a new job within a week...you will too! |

| I did that just over a year ago. It was a heck of a year without a job so I give you my prayers that your new job comes lots faster!
Even with the bad year without a job, I'll never regret leaving my bad situation. |

 Can You Hear Me Now?
Location: When you hit the middle of nowhere .. Keep driving | I did something along these lines in January. I loved my job and the other people I worked with, but couldn't take watching the owners daughter use everyone as her scape goat (including myself). They were also the poster child for disorganized. I figured they could do without me and gave my 2 weeks. I got put down by them the day I left but got the last laugh because I had to contact the labour board when they forgot to file my paperwork with the government, and I had to hound them for 2 months.
Another thing to consider is starting your own small business. I have been trying, and even if it doesn't work out I have learned a lot and met a lot of connections. I thought of what I enjoy doing (customer service, working with animals and other farmers) and what type of need was in the area involving that. There may be grants or low interest loans you can qualify for too. I'm sure you will be working in no time again! Lots of hugs.

| Keep God in the loop in your life. Now that you have done that, pray that His will be done in finding you the right job, for only He knows that and only He can help you. Pray for Him to help guide you and give you the open heart to hear His voice. |

Location: Arkansas | Sounds like you may have been in "Egypt" (where you can not receive the blessings that GOD has for you much like when Abraham took Sarah and went to Egypt), and it was time for you to go to where it is you are supposed to be so that you can receive what you are supposed to receive! HE has a way of getting his point across! :) Hugs to you. |

My boss does not belive in God. Maybe this was God telling to get out of there. When i got home i prayed for guidance. My husband went there after i left, then he calls me , I said they "told you"...he knows what i've been going through there. |

Location: Southwest Minnesota | I look at a job as a relationship of sorts....meaning if you are in one that is sucking the life out of you and you have to battle yourself just to go there everyday, it's not worth it. It was time to get out. Good for you for making the hard decision. You will find something better and wonder what took you so long to make the decision to leave. Good luck! |

I went with the attitude everyday of being nice to people, it just did not matter how hard tried with them and yes there was days i felt not being nice but i did anyways. You hit the nail with them "sucking the life out of me"....When you have a boss, say do it this way and still get yelled for doing it her way...I could not win with her...It was just driving me crazy!!. |
