Three bulging lumbar disc, one moderately bulging, one diffusely bulging and one markedly diffuse. Surgery is not an option in my mind. I am working with a Chiropractor, and a lot of the numbness is receding. I need a backbrace to race in. Any ideas??

Sorry about you back. Back injuries can be troublesome.
Have you talked to your chiro about braces? I bet he/she can recommend what he/she thinks is best for you.
You might want to look into a Professionals Choice brace or Don Joy has several different types. I would seriously consider a professional opinion on selecting the right one before I purchased something.

Does this go for me too?! [= I need ideas. I am also looking into braces, and I also need support for my SI joint. Mine went out trying to lope circles last Wednesday. I spent Thursday at the ER and now it's suspected that I have a bulging disc and possible ligament damage
(from a previous injury
) to my SI joint on the right side. The braces I've found for SI pain look like they may help support the lower back also, but I'm still researching as well.

I like my new
(sz small
)BOT brace .. It doesn't get hot so I can wear it under my clothes all day long .. And can zzz in it comfortably if I am real sore..It is more therapeutic than supportive. I hate the PRo Choice .. Too bulky , thick and too large for women. I really like the magnetic one I got for my husband .. It is double banded so has the best support of anything I have seen and again really helps when sore . I got him a BOT one too so he can wear it zzz and when he just needs light support. The magnet brace was too big for me and made me sweat like crazy but man it sure supports... Even bouncing on a tractor all day long. Also I would strongly advise you to get a gel pad or memory foam pad for saddle and chairs/ vehicles.Makes a huge difference!
