Location: Arkansas | I have been feeding half a scoop of alfalfa cubes with probiotics mixed in an hour before feeding grain in order to prepare to start feeding the ulcercure (it hasn't arrived yet). My question is, is it okay to feed probiotics with the ulcercure?? Also, Can I just add it to the alfalfa and feed 1 hour before grain?
BTW, I could tell a difference after just a few days with feeding the alfalfa cubes and probiotics! He was less sensitive in the girth, stomach and back plus his attitude had changed! I think (HOPE) the ulcercure will do wonders for him! |

| My gelding who would buck when not ridden regulary so i would lunge him until no bucking. After treating for ulcers, he has a sorness problem that has been hard to find i purposely not ridden all winter trying to,figure out what to,do. I talked to a vet and will, carry him wed. Butmshemask me if imcoukd ride i said its been 5 months no riding. I saddle him up and lunged him what a dead head no buck so quiet and i walk trot canter was scared to get on him, that was friday, and sunday did the same thing no hump buck, no,nothing super quiet. I bet when we get to the vet i will get a tube and qive him a quarter, so,him 3.5 hour trailer ride doesnot bother him. That is the way he was when after i sent him for, breaking a dead head, but the older he got the more bucky he has been. |

Location: Arkansas | I have ridden the same saddle on him for 6+ years and havn't had issues until recently. He is a bit dished out in the withers, but I use a bio-fit pad to correct that. I have changed cinches and he is still very sore on his girth and his abdomen. I just didn't know if the alfalfa or Probiotics would affect the potency of the Ulcercure. |

Location: mi | I would ask the Ulcercure dude. I mixed mine with just a handful of grain. I am sure using the alfalfa the same way would be fine but not sure on the probiotics I think I would wait and give them later with his normal feeding. For some reason I am thinking you don't want to give any type of medications or supplements too close to the Ulcercure as it changes the effect. But that is just vague in the back of my memory. |

Location: Arkansas | I gotcha. I will probably feed the probiotics seperately after the Ulcercure so that it can coat the intestines well! |

Location: Somewhere between S@% stirrer and Saint | I think adding the UlcerCure OTC to the alfalfa cubes wouldn't be as good as adding it to the grain because the cubes are bigger and the small amount of UlcerCure OTC powder may filter to the bottom. I would wet a small amount of grain and mix the UC OTC in. Feed it as a snack then do the regular feeding of cubes and grain. |

Location: Arkansas | Well I have been wetting the cubes and used only a small amount to mix the meds with. He cleaned his feed pan up; but you think I should still do grain instead? |

| I would mix the ulcer cure with a small amount of grain then feed the alfalfa cubes with the probiotic later. What type of grain are you feeding? You want low starch. I have started feeding Renew Gold to my ulcer prone horse . It only takes pound a day. Also feed Timothy and Alfalfa Hay. For supplements I give Platinum Performance CJ and a fast track for the probiotic. . Also give stomach soother. Just make sure your feeding low starch.
Renew gold has no grain in it so it is great for a ulcer horse.

If the UlcerCure OTC coats the cubes well enough and no product is lost just stay with your plan. |

Location: Arkansas | I tried grain tonight and the cubes worked so much better! lol I think I will go back to that... And I would love to switch feed, but I can't at the moment. I plan to be moving to my own place soon, so that's the time I plan to switch feed. |

The Ulcercure MUST coat the intestines well, it sure did stick to me with my little mishap of the day! I dropped the jar with the lid halfway on and a powder explosion erupted in my feed room. I was COVERED in the stuff and could not get it off of me or the floor. There is no telling how much of it I wasted and I am so upset that I did; money is tight at the moment and I am afraid I will have to buy another jar sooner than expected. Im pretty bummed |
