| Looking to buy another saddle to have another saddle to ride various horses in. That being said I'm not fitting one horse. It will be on many shapes & sizes. What have you guys and gals had the best luck with? |

Location: 31 lengths farms | My Carl Ammerman seems to fit everything with only a few minor pad changes for the 3 I own and I've ridden a few outside horses in it with the same minor pad changes. |

The Double J LM does almost anything. I have a huge horse that my trainer"s did not fit though. I just ordered a Josey Ultimate. I had it fitted to one horse but will fit the huge one also. (my trainer used her Ultimate on him) It has the semi QH bars |

Location: 100 miles from Nowhere, AR | I had really good luck with my Marlene special Effx saddle fitting most horses until I'd had it about 8 years and then it fit nothing. My trail pommel bob Marshall is very versatile, but I don't like the way it rides on everything. My crown c has fit several horses, but not my big shouldered, wide loined gelding. |

Location: never in the right place | I have a low withered, wide backed horse and I can't fit anything on him. Hubby bought me an older used Double J Lynn Mckenzie Special and it sits on his back like a guy with a hat that is too small for his head. lol. My Caldwell TG fits him ok but not the best, it rolls if not tightened up. I had Meleta Brown send me her new Wide tree saddle and it was comfy but didn't fit him at all. I have a KK Flex 2 wide tree and that seems to fit him but because the seat is padded up front it is too tight for me ( I like a little room). My older Crates doesn't fit either of us. There aren't alot of choices out here in New England and a lot of people don't care how their saddle fits. |

| I've had a lot of luck with my Debra Sibley... My gelding is tall, lanky, big shoulder & wither, but leaner all in all and it fits him great. A friend bought one who rides a bulky quarter horse. Ive put it on training horses and colts and also fit well. |

Location: Wonderful Wyoming | I had really great luck for yrs with a Triple Creek with regular bars...now not so much :( I don't know what the deal is, but it is too wide in the front. Once they mature it is fine. So I have been collecting older used saddles so I can afford to have some different ones. I can usually find one that fits. I have a Triple Creek with full bars that is really wide but fits my show horse and an Ammerman that I just got that I hoped would fit the show horse but no luck, a Crates that fits my 3yr old, Six I just got back from being started. I just look for a sound and solid older saddle in the $500-$750 price range. |

| My Martha Josey...it fits my 2 year old (one of Krystal's colts) my foundation bred mare that looks like she's more race built, my cutter reject, and a Paint/TWH thing that is our trail horse. I just have to make pad adjustments according to which horse it is. It doesn't fit everyone "perfect," but then again neither does my Triple Creek, my Crown C, my Dakota, or the CJ Record Breaker that I just sold. Uggh...good luck. LOL |

I love the way it fits all the horses but I honestly feel like I move around too much when I run in it. I like the TC much better for making a run in, but having been a jumper rider I tend to get way too forward as it is. And I think Cody is going to be way too big for any of the saddles except for maybe the Martin. I put the MJ on him and it FITS! He won't actually be 2 until next month...this is the wide tree. I am NOT looking forward to saddle hunting AGAIN. I had 12 saddles and 4 horses. I don't NEED that many saddles! (But don't tell my husband that! LOl) |

| Martin saddlery used to make a saddle called I think the iron horse. I had one and it fit everything! No whithers to high whithers to mutton whithers...and never slipped never rubbed it was a 6 and 3/4 gullet? I wish I still had it. I have had a ton of luck with my newer Martin racer (6.5" gullet?) Love it! I had a coats flex tree (6and 3/4" gullet?) and it was also amazing. All three of those saddles are excellent! I'm also really liking my Cecil Phillips, however I don't think it would fit everything. |

My LM does the same thing on my 3yr old! :( Anybody want it lol. I love it but sadly doesnt fit my horse. the same way that ctdrumrun described. the LMs fit my cousin's racebreds really well and thats all she runs in. |
