Member Posts: 14	Just wondering what everyone uses for pads under their caldwell saddles?? I have a maxxed out for my mare and it rolls with a 1" 5 star and a csi pad... suggestions???

Elite Veteran Posts: 631 Location: Somewhere in N.C.	get a 1/2" 5 star. If the saddle fits perfect you should be able to use a thin pad.

Extreme Veteran Posts: 305	I use 1/2 5 star wool pads under mine. I also use a fleece cinch cover from Martha josey. Let it get a little hair and sweat on it and it holds really well. Good Luck

Member Posts: 14	Thank you for the suggestions!! I wouldnt say it is a perfect fit, but the promax was too narrow for her... I was going with the caldwell suggestions of the 1", will try a 3/4" and 1/2" and see how it goes... does anyone use a wade pad under their caldwells??
