 Can You Hear Me Now?
  
Location: When you hit the middle of nowhere .. Keep driving | I came home from running errands Tuesday evening to find him not able to move his back legs. He can't feel anything in them and still seems happy. Vet says there is nothing we can do at this point. We have been treating mild hip and back problems for 6 months and he has done well. This was so sudden I am still in shock.

Location: Do I hear Banjos? | It is never the right time...and it is never an easy decision. But as a wise vet once told me...there are worse things in life for an animal than a humane end. It's the responsibility we bear to see that they do not suffer unnecesarily...and that we let them go when we can no longer give them a quality of life.

Location: When you hit the middle of nowhere .. Keep driving | I'm taking him out for one last car ride. We are going to go get a burger, fries and a sundae. He gets them every time we go on a trip. |

Location: Usually on my horse | Just had to say good-bye to my 15 yo chocolate lab. Her mind was still there, her body gave out. I couldn't watch her struggle anymore. Had her all of her life. She was truley one of the best dogs and companions ever. Hardest thing I ever had to do. I feel your pain . Sorry you are going through this. |
