Location: In The Land of Cotton | We have a cheaper model of Mercedes here in our town that has MYSSA on the plate. I guess she uses her SSA funds to buy the mercedes. And, she doesn't look to be over 40. |

Oh my! One of my faves, and I've only heard it so not sure how it's spelled, is Jen-ah-tah-lee-ah. Genitalia? |

| I heard of a little girl named Trasharea. When asked how the mother came up with that name, she said she saw it on a sign on the way to the hospital. Trash Area. |

Hungarian Midget Woman
Location: Midwest | Hmm, apparently it would star out these peoples' proper names here on BHW!
Another strange story. A friend of mine was an RN working the floor at a children's hospital. A girl was there giving birth- she was 12-13 years old. She wanted to name her child a name of a very private female body part (rhymes with Dolores), because she thought it was "a pretty word". So the nurses had to explain to her what the word actually meant, and why this was not a good name for her child.

| I work in health care and used to keep a book of the strange names but have stopped but a couple that come to mind are lemon pronounced Le Mon and orange pronounced O rang E' the last name was Juice. I swear on a stack of bibles. Have seen a vagina pronounced va ganna, Tampon pronounced Tam Pona, I could go on but have to stop.

Here's one for you, I worked for a time on a project at work that involved reviewing docs that had to be submitted by taxpayers to prove their relationship to children claimed to get a free tax credit (free money essentially). One child was named "Doctor Martin Luther King" and then another couple of names behind that..... |
