To edit or not to edit . . . that is the question.

In the past we let users edit their own posts.    Reasons for and against?

For.......because I am a terrible "typist"....of course, without RWR to correct the spelling, I guess I shouldn't worry about my spelling........LOL

For!  I look illiterate sometimes!

And I like to (and for others) be able to go back into the original post and fix something sounds confusing.

I do not agree... a lot of times when I post kittehs, I look it over and want to go back and change the order of the pictures.. That option will no longer be there..

I'm for!!!

My fingers often type faster than my brain computes ... soooo typo's galore, which I detest in my own posts.

Also- sometimes I forget details that seem obvious 5 mins later when I read it ... it's nice to be able to go back and explain more or add something ...

My fingers move faster than my brain spells so I really want the edit back.  Another reason I would like it back is sometimes my sassy mouth tells my fingers to type things that as soon as I hit submit I have 2nd thoughts and I edit and delete.
